Step 1: Meet him

Luna woke up with an extensive pain thrusting in between her head. Today was the first day of her work and after studying for four years, getting a degree along with a huge amount of debt and student loan, she should at least feel happy that she's finally settled. However, that wasn't the case for her. If people got happy after getting their name badge, she got worried about the endless bills she has to pay.The debts were heavier on her shoulder than the happiness in her chest. The endless uncertainty of her future pushed her to think about the worst.
Anyways, it was Monday. New day, new life so she needs to pull her hair in a bun and start the day.
She picked up her phone and checked the emails through her cracked screen while she was vigorously brushing her teeth. One email caught the attention that made her spit the toothpaste and glare sharply.
"For fucking hell! This crazy son of a bitch!" She cursed. What she saw was an email from her old orphanage that kicked her out when she turned 18. They didn't glance at her direction twice when before kicking her out. Now that they found out that she got a job from one of the top companies in the country, they are suddenly congratulating her and offering her to act as alumni and help them to advertise the orphanage.
She scoffed. "Bold of you to assume that I wouldn't bust your jaw if you even come near my proximity." With a roll of her eyes, she tosses her phone on the bed and resumes her morning routine.
She wasn't treated well during her stay in that place but she wasn't going to recall and narrate her sob story. She didn't care about that part of her life anymore so people shouldn't care either. At one point, those mistreatments bothered her but not anymore. Time heals everything and it healed her resentments over the years as well.
After getting into a comfortable pencil skirt and a plain white shirt, she comes out of the door.
She rented a rooftop apartment space; which meant her living space wasn't the best. Having a hot-headed landlord lady living right below her wasn't ideal but she wouldn't it any other ways. "It's okay, Loons! Only better days will come from now on!" She breathed the crisp air and locked the door.
"Looking ugly as usual, I see!" She heard her landlady, Mia speaking from downstairs. Mia is a single lady in her late 40s. She is the mother figure Luna had her in her life, even though their communication only consisted of curse words.
"Well, atleast I'm young and fine which you wish to have, old lady!" She laughed loudly.
"You bitch, I will burn your house!" Mia screamed.
"Go ahead, it's all yours anyway!" Luna snapped back, sticking her tongue out. "Oh! Look my sugar daddy is here." She cheers up while getting down the stairs.
There was a car waiting for her to hop on. With a big smile, she opens the car door to see Y/n's face. "Hey! Sugar Daddy!"
Y/n was the only person she had in her life, who was the closest to the word 'family'. "Well, I'm only your sugar daddy when it comes to giving you a ride to work."
"Well, why should I spend money on bus fares when I have a rich friend like you?" Luna wiggled her brows teasingly before fastening her seatbelt.
"So you're using me? You gold digger!" Y/n chuckled at the submission.
"No, I'm your petrol digger!" Luna cracks up followed by a snort along with her best friend.
When they arrive at the driveway, Y/n abruptly stops Luna from getting out of the car. ''Okay, you seem nervous. Don't worry girl, you can do this!'' Y/n speaks exaggeratedly. She got the placement a month before Luna so she was aware of the company better than her.
