Step 7: Meet a guardian angel

Taehyung lets out a puff of breath as he observed Luna enter the office. He sought to find out where exactly she got transferred to for the past few days. Since Jimin and Y/n were very much loyal to the girl, they did not disclose any information about her whereabouts despite him begging for it. After a few trials and error to catch Luna entering the office, he finally caught up on the exact time she enters the building. This was his fourth day of coming to work early, staying hidden inside his car just to catch Luna. He didn't know if this was classified as stalking, but he was desperate to see her. 

He needed a visual confirmation for her being okay. Despite everyone feeding him on how Luna attacked Elle, he still wanted to believe that there is an extra part of the truth he didn't know.

He watches Luna greet her co-workers and smilingly converse with them. He took the moment to scan her from head to toe. She was wearing a bodycon dress that was doing wonders to her figure. To Taehyung, she looked good in everything but today she seemed to have an extra glow in her than usual. Maybe I am just missing her a bit too much, he concluded. His eyes then catch her shoes, wearing high heels. As much as Taehyung recalled, she hated wearing heels. Namjoon always instructed everyone to be comfortable with whatever they wear, so they never really had strict formal wear requirements. 

He wondered if the heels were troubling her. He tried to squint his eyes to detect any discomfort but the distance between them didn't allow it. His attempt got interrupted when he unexpectedly finds another male figure approaching her. She greeted him with a smile. '

'Milo?'' That ticked Taehyung off. He instantly found himself fuming at the harmless sight. His feet were about to take off and reach the pair when his wrist abruptly gets clutched and dragged somewhere else.

''What the hell are you doing here?!'' Y/n scolded. ''Tae, I told you she doesn't want you to know where she got transferred to!'' Y/n understood his frustrations but she also wanted to keep her promise to Luna.

''Y/n! That's Milo. She works in the same team as Milo!'' Taehyung's irrational mind pushed itself to think how gorgeous Luna looked and whether or not if it was for Milo. He knew his assumptions were wrong but the growing jealousy didn't help it.

Y/n sighed instead. ''And? She sees you running around Elle after you get intimate with her all the time. I never see you comment on that?''

''You're still angry about that?'' Taehyung felt guilty.

''Of course! Do you know it's been eight months that she has been liking you. And her feelings are genuine and valid, I am not letting you trample over it like its nothing? I get you love Elle but you are hurting Luna in the process by being a confused prick.''

''I admit I am confused, but I also miss Luna. Fuck, I even became a stalker because of her! Look at me!''

Y/n smirked. ''Can you not see? You are also growing feelings for her. Elle was your past and you also know being with her will not cause you any good. So, give your feelings for Luna a chance?''

Taehyung didn't oppose that, in fact simply thinking about that solution made his heart sigh at ease. ''She doesn't want to talk to me. How will I even do that when we became so distant?''

''Tae, it's only been eight days that Luna is gone! You're acting like she hasn't talked to you for years!'' Y/n chuckled.

''EIGHT?! Do you know how many hours are in these EIGHT days?''
