Strangers in the night - #13

Kaminary's PoV:
Me and Hitoshi went back towards the party leaving Kyouka and Yaomomo alone together, I looked back and they were kinda just awkwardly looking at eachother so I wasn't sure if we should've left them together or not, but Hitoshi seemed to think it was a good idea.

After about an hour Kyouka and Yaomomo came in, still not talking to eachother. I had an idea but I'm not sure Hitoshi will agree, either way I need to help, and if that means causing a little drama, so be it.

"Hitoshi! I have an idea." I pulled the bottom of his shirt suggesting he follow me, which he did.

I took him outside the door of the party room, "So uh- I have an idea to help Momo and Kyouka!" He raised his eye brow at me "how did you know what happened?" I froze for a second then remembered they saw me with Yaomomo. "Momo told me." I shrugged internally hoping he believed me.

"Hm so what's your plan?"

"Kyouka!" I placed my hand on her shoulder, "so about you and Yaomomo-"

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" She looked nervous. "Mmh, I'm not sure but it's worth a try!" Hitoshi put his arms around my waist and put his chin on my head from behind, obviously feeling a bit protective over my plan. "I don't think it's such a good idea.." he pouted. I rolled my eyes at him "c'mon let go, it won't be for long." Kyouka giggled at him

"you two sure are cute, but I think Hitoshi is right.. it might be a little too intimate and she'll think I'm cheating on her with you, that's what caused the problem to begin with.." she sighed "maybe I should just leave she doesn't seem to want to talk to me anyways.."

I grabbed her wrist as she walked away. "It's not like I'm full on kissing you it's just a dance c'mon! It'll be like old times." She smiled weakly at me.

I ran up and whispered a song to the DJ which he nodded and started playing.

Exchanging glances

Wondering in the night

I took Kyouka hand in mine and took her to the dance floor, we use to dance to this song in her dorm room when one of us were feeling sad.

What were the chances, we'd be sharing love?

Her hands laid on my shoulder while my arms were sitting round her waist, we swayed to the rhythm of the music

Before the night was through~

I could see in the corner of my eye Hitoshi was getting jealous and I could also see Yaomomo looking at us from the drink table.

Something in your eyes was so inviting,

Something in your smile was so exciting,

Something in my heart told me I must have you~

I looked at Kyouka and smiled, it's been years since we danced together like this. I really missed this.

Strangers in the night

Two lonely people, we were strangers in the night.

Up to the moment, when we said our first hello, little did we know,

Love was just a glance away, a warm embracing dance away.

I took one of my arms off Kyouka waist and gestured towards Yaomomo to come whilst we danced.

And ever since that night,

We've been together, lovers at first sight.

In love forever.

As Yaomomo approached us I let go of Kyouka waist and sent her over to her.

It turned out so right.

I winked at her as she walked towards Yaoyorozu and whispered "you got this!" She smiled as she walked over to her.

As the best continued I felt someone wrap and arm around my waist causing me to turn around. I was met with dark purple eyes that I swear you could get lost in if you stared long enough, "it's my turn for a dance." I smiled at him and put my arms round his neck and my head on his chest.

We moved side to side (Ariana that you?) as the best played.

Love was just a glance away, a warm embracing dance away.

Ever since that night, we've been together.

Lovers at first sight, in love forever.

It turned out so right.

For strangers in the night~

We never saw Kyouka or Yaomomo when the song finished, to be honest we weren't paying attention to them when the song was playing so we never knew if it went well or not.

We still needed to announce our wedding so I had the best idea for him to propose to me again once the song ended.

"It's time!" I slowly whispered in his ear. He smiled and nodded, he let go of my waist and I acted confused.

"Are you okay? What are you doing?" He smiled at me and went down on one knee at this point I saw so many eyes on us. "What can I say? When first started dating my life has changed so much, and it's all thanks to you. You've taught me not only what it feels like how to be loved, but also what it feels like to be loved unconditionally, so Denki Kaminary, will you marry me?"

As he spoke I felt all the adrenaline I get when he first asked me, I started crying without realising, he made sure not to say the same thing as last time and somehow made it sweeter than it was before, I could barely breathe I was smiling so wide. "So?" I didn't realised I had spaced out. I tried to talk but nothing came out so I closed my mouth and vigorously nodded yes.

He placed the ring back on my ring finger and wiped away my tears. "You promised you wouldn't cry." He whispered softly in my ear I laughed and hugged him as tightly as possible squeezing my eyes shut.

That's the end of this chapter the next chapter will be the wedding and then it'll be the end of this story, and I know I actually posted twice within a month, don't need to worry about me I'm just bored 😔
