I stormed in the house mad. I hated my life. I dropped my book bag and put my headphones in.

"What's the matter with you boy?" My grandmother asked me. I ignored her and keep listening to my music. "Boy I will slap your teeth straight, answer me!" My grandmother yelled. "Nothing, I'm okay." I told her, even though I know deep down inside I was hurting.

I had to live with my grandmother due to the death of my parents. My momma cheated on my daddy and he shot her. And after he shot her he shot himself. Seeing the whole thing traumatized me for life.

"Okay, I got oxtail and rice if you want some." My grandmother said."I'm not hungry." I told her. I knew damn well I wanted some of that oxtail and rice. But I needed to watch my weight. I didn't want to get any bigger. And after Jarvis stole my lunch, I was starving.

After a while of starvation, I decided to get some of the food. It was delicious. But the after feeling was terrible. I looked in the mirror and saw how fat I was. How wide my gap was. I was just plain ugly.

I really wanted braces but my grandmother couldn't afford it. And I can't do persistent work outs to save my life. I felt like I was stuck this way forever.

Jeffery called my phone.

Jeffery: whats up man
Rashaud: nothing, just chilling
Jeffery: You can come to my house if you want to talk about it. I got 2k.
Rashaud: okay

The phone hung up.

I got dressed. I put on my basic T-shirt, faded jeans, and a pair of nikes I got a few years back. Even though I new a lot about the shoe game my grandmother didn't have the money to buy the freshest pairs.

I got on my bike and rode to Jeffery house. I knocked on the door and no one answered. The door was already opened so I just walked.

I saw Jeffery and his girlfriend Rebecca making out on the couch. Jeffery noticed I was in the house and stopped kissing Rebecca.

"What is he doing here?" She asked. "Relax bae, he's my friend." Jeffery said." Whats good man?" He told me while dapping me up. It felt like an awkward moment for everyone.

"Babe, can we talk?" Rebecca asks Jeffery. They went to another room and talked but I can still here them

Rebecca: why do you even talk to that kid? He's weird
Jeffery: We've been friends since 3rd grade, I can't just diss him.
Rebecca: Babe, his gap is longer than your friendship. Drop that nigga.

After hearing that I just left. Everyone looks at me like I'm some type of freak. I took my bike and rode home. I can't deal with this anymore.
