Chapter Two - Preparation

It's been a whole week since the incident with Bakugo, and Izumi hadn't come out of her room. 

Both her mother and friends were really worried, while some were furious with Bakugo for the stunt he pulled on an important event. Uraraka was especially angry.

Elsewhere

"What the hell, dude!?" Kirishima exclaimed. They were all gathered around a fountain to discuss Bakugo's poor actions during Izumi's confession. Uraraka, Kirishima, Iida, Tsuyu, Todoroki, Kaminari, Sero, Mina, Momo, Shinso, and Jiro were present. 

Bakugo didn't get the point of all this. It was her who confessed to him out of nowhere.

"You know what, Bakugo? You may not like Midoriya, but that stunt you pulled was highly inappropriate. Shame on you," Iida scolded him while doing his signature hand-chopping movements.

"Yeah," Jiro chimed in an agreement. "I don't know if you're just insecure about yourself or you just have mental problems. But whatever it is, it doesn't give you the right to take it out on Izumi!"

Bakugo jumped out of his seat and glared menacingly at the two of them. "What the hell did you just say four-eyes and ear-phone girl!?" He was bubbling with rage at this point. It's not his fault that Izumi was such a crybaby. She should just suck it up and move on with her life. If something like this is enough to break her spirit, then she doesn't deserve to be a hero anyway...

Right?

"Tch, it's not my fault she couldn't handle a simple rejection," Bakugo replied dryly.

Nobody could believe the words coming out of his mouth.

"Simple rejection!?" Mina screeched angrily.

"Dude, you literally kicked the poor girl down and drenched her with fruit punch!" Sero said in disbelief.

"Not to mention you embarrassed her in front of countless U.A. graduates," Kaminari added as he shook his head disapprovingly. 

Everyone was angry at Bakugo. Sure he had been terrible to Izumi in the past, but this just crosses a whole new line.

"Tch, well if that nerd thought that I would like someone like her, then she had another thing coming. Stupid Bit-" before he could finish his sentence he was met with a harsh slap to the face by a certain brunette.

"You jerk!" Uraraka screamed.

"What the hell round face!? You want me to blow your ass up!?" Bakugo screamed angrily, activating his quirk in the process.

"Disgusting. I can't believe I was willing to encourage Deku to confess to a piece of trash! She's way out of your league!" Uraraka said disgusted with Bakugo's choice of words.

"The hell!? She's the one who wanted to make a fool out of someone in front of a large crowd because they're comfortable in their own skin!" he uttered while boiling with rage at the same time.

"That doesn't sound like Izumi-chan, ribbit. It sounds like you, Bakugo," Tsuyu intervened.

"I agree. Izumi is such a kind-hearted and selfless person. It would make sense that she would make Bakugo feel bad about himself," Momo agreed.

Bakugo was livid at her statement, but deep down he knew that they were right. As strong as he is, he can't help but be insecure next to Izumi. People loved her and she had All Might's validation. Maybe he had gone overboard. Todoroki walked up to him snapping him out of his thought process.
