For a long time that night, I stayed in my room. I was still trying to get my head over the fact that we're moving and leaving everything behind. Like turning over a new leaf but not quite.

That night I didn't bother going to dinner. And my siblings probably knew why so they didn't bother me anymore. At about midnight, I lay awake on my bed, looking out of my window. The cold breeze blew and hit my face as I saw the millions of stars that illuminated the night sky.

The sound of the door unlocking caught my attention. "Maddie?" The soft voice of my twin called out. I couldn't trust my voice so I didn't reply. "I know you're awake you know." He said as he made his way to my bed before quietly plopping down beside me and hugging me. I turned to him and broke down. I didn't have a care in this world when I have Noah with me. He understands me better than anyone.

"It's going to be fine, you know" his voice was barely above a whisper as he caressed my hair.

"How, Noah? How?" I said between sobs, sniffling. "We're moving to the other side of the country. My friends, everyone we know...mom, dad...it's like we are leaving them behind."

He sighed before pulling away slightly so I can face him. "It will be okay. It just will be. Somehow." He paused :And we're not leaving anyone behind. Mom and dad, we'll always remember them. They'll be with us, here" he said pointing to my heart. "And if you wanna see Skylar and Aurelia then you can facetime them. And you can come visit." He said genuinely.

"I- I just- I don't know. We've been living here so long. Everything is so familiar. If we move then everything changes. New faces, new school, new neighborhood." I ended with a frustrated sigh.

"Yeah, I suppose. But that's life isn't it? All about the change." He said in a sing-song voice from Meghan Trainor's song and I laughed.

"Thanks Noah. You always know what to say to make me feel better." I said solemnly. The smug face returned to him.

"I know I do." He said jokingly both then smiled sincerely and said "Twin telepathy remember?" He said referring to the big fuss we made about twin telepathy.

"Chocolate" "Chocolate"
"Cheesecake" "Cheesecake"
"Gumdrop" "Gumdrop"
Two little ravenettes giggled saying everything together. Then the girl gasped loudly. "Noah! Noah! Do you think we have tepelaty?!" She said, trying to pronounce it correctly. The boy gasped this time and said "Yes! Just like Spen and Jas!"

The door was heard unlocking and a middle aged man wearing a suit fame in with two other men laden with black suits. He said something to the other two who quickly scurried away. The two astonished five year olds ran to him. "Papa papa!" The man picked the girl up and the boy got on his back as they giggled.

The little girl, remembering her talk with her twin looked at her father. "Papa do you know me and Noah have tepelaty!" The man took a moment to realize. He chuckled and booped her nose. "You mean telepathy, tesoro?" The girl and boy both nodded in agreement.

"Papa is back!" A yell was heard and all the children rushed to greet their father. The oldest twins who were six hugged him and so did the others following.

"Kids, let you father breathe! He's getting old" The melodic voice of her mother came filled by a teasing laugh. She was a beautiful woman with blonde hair and ocean blue eyes. While their father was a handsome man with raven hair and chocolatey brown orbs. Both looked young for their age and were a pretty couple. No wonder their children were the talk of the town. They all had the best of both and were called beautiful even at such a young age.

The man stood up and walked to his wife, greeting her with a peck on her lips, making her blush. "Oh am I? Looks like I still have my charm, alright." he said teasingly as the children groaned and the younger ones covered their eyes and said "Yuck" in unison."
