A gasp of utter terror left Taehyung when he was pulled upwards and pressed against Hoseok's chest, eyes widening when he felt an arm around his waist, another one pressing against his throat and he released a scream of protest. Ranks curled around his wrists from distress but they were so weak and tiny that they immediately died, powers still not recovered.

Taehyung released a pained sob by this, his eyes flying around in distress when he was pulled away from Jeongguk, a hot aching running through his wrist, where the beautiful pendants were marking him as Jeongguk's soulmate. 

"Let go of him immediately!", Jeongguk's angry voice boomed through the entire room, aura darkening until he was surrounded by darkness. Sharp black eyes swirling with anger. Jaw clenched, brows furrowed and muscles bulging threateningly while he stared possessively at Taehyung.

The little flower god yelped, Hoseok was pulling him away, dragging him towards the entrance without stopping to stare at Jeongguk. Yoongi on the other side threw Jeongguk a broken look before following his best friend, he knew he had to do this or else he was going to lose Jimin. 

What a hypocrite he was, saying he understood both, Jeongguk and Hoseok, yet he chose his own desires over his friends, over Taehyung because he didn't want to end up like Jeongguk. Funny, since he was now participating in Jeongguk's sorrow by separating the soulmates, once again. 

"Nothing will happen to him, Jeongguk but you and I both know that this is not a place for him. No matter if you're his soulmate or not, he's not meant to be here", the god of the sun said while Jeongguk was fuming in anger, bellowing commands at his guards and the closer coming hell hound.

"You will release him Hoseok or I will let Cerberus rip you apart!", Jeongguk growled furiously. Taehyung let out a pained little noise. "No! Fuck no, he is mine! You are a monster for keeping him away from his father. The six months doesn't have to be now. We will find a solution in this half year to keep him away from you", Hoseok yelled back in reply, startling Taehyung.

The sun above his head wavered, its sunlight fading a bit from Taehyung's distress. "Do you know what you've done with your selfish act?", Hoseok now hissed furiously at Jeongguk who ignored his words completely, only focusing on his goal to get Taehyung back.

"If your hell hound jumps me, I'll make sure he hits Taehyung!", Hoseok threatened with a yell and Taehyung gasped by this, causing Jeongguk to stop Cerberus with a stone cold expression. "Let him go", Jeongguk's anger faded and turned into despair because they were nearing the entrance. Hades could not simply watch how the love of his life was taken away from him like this.

But Hoseok pressed a dagger against Taehyung's neck, halting his distressed squirming. "You think I wouldn't do it? Fucking try me. I'll make sure you will never touch him again and poison his mind!", Hoseok yelled. "H-Hoseokie, p-please don't do this", Taehyung whimpered, he might not want to be a prisoner of hell but he did not want to come with Hoseok like this, not when he has decided to give Jeongguk a chance.

Jeongguk who was panicking, looking so broken and betrayed. Looking completely alone, in his palace of pain and torture. He was portrayed as the bad guy the entire time, the villain when he was just a simple man in love, yet no one allowed him to love. Betrayed, abandoned and forced into a role that made him supposedly evil. 

All Jeongguk ever wanted, was love. Taehyung's love.

And now, that short moment of happiness was also taken away from him. By Hoseok, who was too blinded by his pain and rejected heart and Yoongi, who was too afraid of losing the only one to ever make him feel loved. 

"Hoseok, I know you are hurt but p-please... don't take him away from me. Take everything else, but not him", Jeongguk cried out, pained tears welling in his eyes and Taehyung broke. Jeongguk was nothing but framed and hurt. "SHUT UP! I LOVE HIM! I WAS THE FIRST ONE TO LOVE HIM!", Hoseok screamed on top of his lungs.

"Hoseok-ah, let's just go."

"H-Hobi, p-please don't do this!", Taehyung and Yoongi said at the same time but Hoseok's eyes were only fixed on the king of the underworld. "Because of you, Seokjin has disappeared and he's refusing to fulfill his duties as god of harvest. The humans are suffering because of your selfishness!", Hoseok spat and it made Taehyung flinch.

"D-Dad is gone?", he asked in a tiny voice, Hoseok's grim face still didn't turn to him. "If you refuse to come with us, Taehyung, people will die and it'll be your fault. Would you want that?", Hoseok grit out, the words paining Taehyung further. "We can find a solution! Don't take him away! I'll do anything, p-please... don't take him away from me again", Jeongguk pleaded, straight up pleaded and it broke Taehyung further.

"We'll see each other in six months, Jeongguk... b-but I couldn't live with myself knowing it's my fault my Dad is g-gone", Taehyung whimpered, hot tears rolling down his face and Yoongi shook his head pained. 

What a dirty trick to make him agree... Jeongguk would never try to stop us if it's Taehyung's decision, Yoongi thought. Were they really doing the right thing?

"Tae, please... I-I have ways to keep you connected, I was going to contact Seokjin, I can do all of that for you! Don't leave me", Jeongguk's chin trembled from his sobs and it broke Taehyung further seeing his soulmate so broken, Jeongguk did not deserve that.

"I w-won't", Taehyung has made his decision, the band around his wrist feeling like it was burning but the pain turned into ashes after he said these words. "I-I want to try, I-I want to give u-us a chance", Taehyung whispered out, easing the sorrow on Jeongguk's face and melting it into surprise. 

It turned Hoseok completely insane and before Yoongi could stop him, he threw his dagger at Jeongguk, plunging right into his chest. "I will not let that happen", Hoseok hissed, pulling the now screaming Taehyung backwards when Jeongguk slumped to the ground, eyes trained on his precious soulmate.

Blood soaked his robes, turning them black and Yoongi released a pitched cry. All this pain, because of so many wrong decisions. "YOONGI!", Hoseok bellowed while he held a crying Taehyung down. 

The god of the sun shot Hades a last look of pity before following his best friend out of the large entrance doors, choosing Jimin over his guilt. After all, Yoongi believed to love the Queen of Olympus like nobody else.

Jeongguk on the other side crashed to the ground, tears rolling down his cheeks yet he had no reason to wipe them away.

Because he had to watch pained how Taehyung got pulled away from him while the poor beauty was screaming for him until his screams became distant.

My heart is aching for Jeongguk TT but like for all the characters but especially for my poor Ggukie
