The only friend Veteran had was Player, if he post his only friend then he would be alone for real.

"See ya later Cap" Veteran heard Player say, before pulling his arm and going in a quiet place to talk. "Tell me the truth Veteran, are you okay?"

Veteran looked up at Player, who had a serious expression on his face. "What do you mean? Of course I am okay." Veteran lied.

"I know you are not. C'mon tell me, you know I'll always be there for you" that was right, Player was always there for Veteran. But still he felt like he wasn't enough, he didn't want to annoy him talking about his problems, especially when the problem is Captain.

"Look dude, maybe you are right, something is wrong with me, but I don't want to talk about it. You know I'm not that kind of person who like to talk about themselves" Veteran looking with a serious stare at Player.

"But why? If you keep all to yourself things will get worse!" Veteran looked down again. He was right, but he still didn't want to te anything.

"I know, but I can't do anything about it." "Fine" Player was a little disappointed, but since Veteran didn't want to tell him anything, he gave up pretty soon.

"See you then, I'll go to my class" as he said this, Player heads to his class, leaving Veteran standing there.

"Did I made him angry?" He thought looking at the other one walking away. He stood there for a few minutes thinking of how much he felt like a coward. He suddenly snapped to reality and went to his class.

He sat at his desk and looked a bit at his phone, the unread messages from Player, were still there since last night.

He looked up for a bit, but as soon as he saw Captain enter he immediately looked back at the phone. He didn't want to even look at him, he hated him, but more importantly, he was scared of him.

He was the reason Veteran hated himself so much. All the things Captain said to him, eventually broke him, even though he promised himself that he would stay strong

Captain sat at his desk, this time ignoring Veteran, and minding his own business

The class begun and Veteran rarely paid attention to it. He was lost into his thoughts like always.

I walk out the school, with my bag on my shoulders, I was still thinking of what was has happened with Veteran earlier. Why didn't he want to tell me?

I look around to see if Veteran was outside waiting for me, since i saw him going out earlier. Maybe he already went home since I can't see him anywhere here

I see Captain walking toward me, and soon I remember that I have to go to his house today.

I'm still worried about Veteran, but maybe I can distract a bit staying with Captain.

We head toward his house, holding hands, and we talk about almost everything, we were joking and laughing together.

For a bit I stopped thinking about Veteran, maybe we could talk again tomorrow. I hope he is doing okay now though, and nothing will happen to him

We arrive at Captain house and I put my bag down. "You told me to have a test next week right?" Yeah the test, I almost forgot. "Yeah I have a test, but I didn't understand much"

"Well, me too, maybe we can study together" he say taking the books out of his bag. "Wait but don't we have different classes?" I ask him, actually i didn't feel like studying, but I had to do something for my grades, since they were all down.

"Yes but maybe we can help each other if we don't understand some things" since he convinced me, I take my books as well and we head to his room.

We start studying and at first I was studying just fine, but then I hear a notification from my phone. I stop studying for a bit and I pick up the phone, it was Veteran

The message said 'Hey sorry for today, I hope you are not mad at me' I don't know if I should respond or not, I mean, I'm with Captain but I'm still worried for Veteran and I would do everything for make him feel better.

"Who texted you?" Captain says, looking up from his book "oh it's just Veteran" I look at him as he sighed. "Sorry I put the phone down now" I say not wanting to argue about it.

The next minutes I was really distracted, I kept thinking about the message, and of course Captain noticed.

"I see you're really distracted, what is the problem?" I sighed "it's nothing, I'm just worried, that's all" "are you seriously worried about him?" Captain responded to me almost immediately.

"Well- yeah he is my friend of course I'm worried about him" he closed the book and look at me "yeah but you are worrying too much, he is fine. I don't know why do you care so much for him anyway"

"What do you mean? I just told you, he is my friend, why should I not care?" I say with a little bit of anger, why would he say suck thing?

"He has literally nothing special" I closed my book as well and I put it in my bag again "okay look, I don't want to argue anymore, and I think I'm going home, studying by myself" I get up and I put the bag on my shoulders.

"Wait sorry I didn't mean to-" "I'm going now Captain, see you tomorrow" I say as I walk out the house, I pick up my phone and I decide to text back Veteran, hoping he will respond.

Yo I hate the fact that I had to make Captain like this since I love him 😔

But oh well, this is just an AU so the characters may not have the same personalities as the original ones, so yeah.
