The smell of fresh crops and freshly watered roses brought tears to my eyes. This room that Hades guided me to, it was so beautiful. All around me, birds flying around gracefully. The flowers were laid out everywhere on the floor, I could barely walk without trampling them. Yet, there was a small path for me to walk through. Under my feet was a yellow mat which wrote my name again. And yes, the room was tiny but it was so colorful. The walls were all white and there were extra fairy lights all across the walls. There were no windows in this room but it was so well lit. I couldn't see any torches, maybe the Fairy Lights were that powerful.

"Do you like it?" Hades whispered as he finished rubbing his eyes. I forgot he was there. I ignored him and walked through the small path and into the vibrant garden. All these flowers reminded me of home. Although I am no where near the surface, I'm grateful to say the least. I know my situation could be much worse. At least he didn't injure me. I know that most powerful men would take this opportunity to harm me. "Ugh who am I kidding" I thought to myself. "THIS IS THE LEAST YOU COULD DO HADES" I shouted. I turned behind me to find him on the floor. He was balancing his weight with his toes making sure he wouldn't get his clothes dirty while admiring the flowers. I didn't think he liked flowers but he looked genuinely amused. "Why must you yell? And so suddenly?" He asked as he attempted to get back up but lost his balance. He fell onto a pile of flowers. I know it was dangerous, but all I could do was laugh! "Hahahahaha, did the god of the dead just lose balance and fall?" I blurted. I've never seen him so vulnerable before. "Tch, and what are you doing there? Don't you have manners?" He demanded while still on the floor, waiting for me to help him up. This was my chance. "You're so right" I teased, running over to him in a hurry. He looked surprised that I agreed. He extended his hand. I was about to grab it before I turned back to find beautiful flowers. "I'm sorry" I apologized to the flowers as I plucked two of them and massages my hands in the healthy dirt. I looked back to see utter shock on his face as I stood up with hands covered in dirt. "Oh I'm sorry for my horrible manners, let me give you a hand" I said sarcastically as I let out my dirty hands for him to grab. He looked up at me and I looked at him with a mischievous grin. "Tch, what are you giggling about?" He asked. I looked back at my right hand confused. Did he not just see me intentionally dirty my hands?. "How the?" I whispered genuinely puzzled. He snatched my hand and helped himself up. How the hell did he do that? My hands were completely clean. It's like I never touched that dirt.

"Thank you very much" he boasted. His voice was louder than before. Didn't he tell me not to yell? What a hypocrite. "Hey didn't you say no yelling?" I whispered, still staring at my right hand confused. I felt a small grip on my left hand. He still hasn't let go of my other hand. "I'm not yelling, I'm just so close to you" he whispered. My head shot up. He wasn't lying. Why was he so close? Too close. I snatched my hand out of his cold hand and took a step back. His face was still as pale as ever and his eyes were grey and relaxed. I could feel my face warm up. He just stared at me as I kept walking back. I stared at my feet. Why is my face so warm? I asked as I touched my cheek. "Am I blushing?" I inquired. No I'm not. What on earth is happening, why am I so nervous all of a sudden? He's a evil criminal. I should be terrified. Ugh!

I looked back up, still walking backwards to see if he was still staring at me but he was gone. I looked around the room but he was nowhere. There isn't much room to walk and the door wasnt opened so he couldn't have left yet. I felt relief that he didn't leave me...why? Why did I want him to still be here with me. Is it because I don't want to be alone? "Do I enjoy his company" I muttered myself before slamming my head into the wall behind me. I knew it was there but I guess I was too lost in thought to avoid getting hurt again.

I was expecting pain, just like the other times I slammed into walls. But I felt none. My head definitely hit something. But why didn't it hurt? I turned back to find Hades standing there with his arm out where i hit my head. Did he use his hand so I wouldn't hurt myself again? He stood there with his left hand in his pocket and his other hand still on the wall. "Y'know 'sephone, you're quite the klutz" he taunted, staring at my face. I could see his expression perfectly. His eyes were still relaxed and his hair was perfectly trimmed. He snickered only a little. At this angle, he was quite handsome. I could feel my face warm up again but I couldn't let him see me so flustered. I turned my head quickly and walked over to the pile Hades fell on. The plants were bent and flattened by his body so I sat on my knees and stood them up one by one...did he just call me 'sephone? "My name is Persephone, only my friends call me that" I muttered, trying to get control over my cheeks. "Persephone is a pretty name, but 'sephone sounds much more...comfortable" he said, walking over to me. I could see his shoes walk over to me from the corner of my eyes. "And Hades isn't a very comfortable name is it?" I mimicked. Why on earth would I want him to be comfortable? The flowers weren't standing upright up so I perched some of them up with my ability to manipulate crops. He noticed me fix them but didn't react. "I agree, Hades is a pretty intimidating name isn't it?" He repeated, kneeling down to help me with the rest. Now that I think about it, when I say the name Hades, I do get pretty scared. "I've always hated my name" he confessed. The flowers he was working with stood up perfectly fine when he did it. He had to have fallen many times to get so good at straightening them. "I've always liked this Hebrew name. It meant joining in harmony..." he whispered to me as he grabbed my hand and pulled me up with him.

We stood in front of each other face to face. My hands in his. I felt safe for some reason. I knew he wasn't going to hurt me yet, I couldn't help but stare at my shoes. I knew I was blushing profusely. He let go of one hand and pulled my chin up with his finger and whispered "...and since you will one day join me in harmony" He inched his face closer to mine.

"Call me Levi", he whispered.
