The mall trip wasn't all that eventful, Christian dropped us off and told us to call him when we were done because he wasn't into shopping. We got plenty of new outfits and crap for our rooms.

'How was the mall?" Christian asked greeting us with a smile as we slide into his car.

"It was packed! But we had loads of fun!" Anna blurted out, and started chatting a mile a minute to Christian about all the odd people we had seen. I turned my body towards the window and watched as the trees all blurred together in shades of greens, reds and oranges. My mind wandered to how lucky I was to be alive and not chained up in someones basement being a living blood bag. Instead, I was lucky and was on my way to find my sister with a nice guy. I glanced over to Christan, noticing I was staring at him, he gazed back at me. I just smiled, and mouthed 'thank you.' I'm sure he was confused but he didn't show it, he just smiled and turned his attention back to the road.

"Are you sure she is here?" I asked following behind Christian up the steps to an old, abandoned looking house. It was covered in overgrown herbs and flowers. The smell of Lavender filled my nose and it made me miss my home. Christian knocked three times on the old door, at first I thought it was going to give out, but it seemed to hold it's own.

"I sure hope so. I don't know where else she'd be." he mumbled and just as he said it the door creaked open and an older lady with graying black waist length hair stood scowling at him. She was a good 5 feet tall, her skinny fingers were covered in giant golden rings, and she was dressed in a long purple dress with swirling designs dancing on it.

"Well, look who we have here? I haven't seen you in about 40 years. The last time you were here, you were looking for a girl." the old women croaked out. Christian threw a worried glance my way. What was she talking about?

"Maggie, we need your help." he whispered and continued. "We need to find her sister." he pointed back towards me. She looked passed him and eyed me cautiously.

"Come in."she demanded as she stepped aside. The inside of the house was the same as the outside. Books and herbs covered everything, old nic-nacs and faded pictures were everywhere and the place may have been messy but smelled heavenly. She waddled to the living room and sat down in and old ripped chair by the fire. She motioned for me to take a seat across from her.

"Do you know if your sister is alive?"she asked leaning forward mixing her tea.

"I don't. That's why we are here. I believe she might be in danger." I said as I sat down in the dusty chair.

"Do you have anything that belongs to her?" I was sure lucky I had never taken this thing off, or else I would be shit out of luck right about now. I slid off the ring from my index finger and dropped it into the witches hand. She curled her fingers around it and took my hand in hers.

The minute she closed her eyes, her breathing became rapid, and her wrinkled eyes flickered revealing just the whites of her eyes. Her body was dripping sweat. She was gripping my hand so hard that her finger nails were digging into my skin causing a hiss to escape from my mouth.

Suddenly, she flung herself backwards into the chair releasing my hand. Her body was shaking and convulsing as she opened her eyes and pointed a shaking finger at me.

"Yo-u-uuu! E-E-vil! Get outtttt! Gettt outtttttttttt!" she screamed. My heart stopped beating. This witch was scared of me, a measly little human. I stood up to see if she was okay, causing her to make an ear splitting shrill.

"Leave and never come back! Your soul is black and filled with evil! Demon!!!" she shouted flailing out of her chair grabbing a metal cross from the fire place and running at me. Christian was before me in a split second pinning the senile woman to her chair.

"Maggie! Calm down! She's a human! She's just looking for her sister who was captured." he said as her breathing steadied. But her eyes never left mine.

"Kill her." she whispered. The hairs on the back of neck stood on end. My body was to shocked to move. All I wanted to do was run. But my curiosity wouldn't allow me to. I wanted to know why this lady was so frightened of me. I took a step forward and she flinched.

"What did you see?" I demanded. She shook her head furiously.

"Y-you are pure evil, and you will take lives of innocent people. A-a man, no, a beast, he will find you," at this point her body was shaking so bad Christan couldn't hold onto her anymore without harming her. She pointed to him and whispered, "Resist temptation boy, her darkness will taint you."and with that her old fragile body gave one last shudder and then stilled.

"Is she dead?" Anna whispered. I had forgot that she was here all along. Christian looked up at me, confusion, and shock swirled in his eyes.

"Yes." he whispered and my body collided with the floor.
