Ashtyn's pov
sky runs up to us and stands beside me before throwing her arm around my shoulder" So how are you doing on this beautiful day"? she asks all of us flashing her amazing smile .
" It's a great day to play some soccer" I reply wrapping my arm around her waist smiling and we head to the sideline where the couch is going over last-minute thins after our warm up and e headed to the pitch ready for the North Carolina kick off.
Sky and I fist bumped for our normal on the pitch tradition we have had for years. I look behind me to see jade in the goal giving Kayla their traditional Shaka sign. we then all quickly nodded and smiled at each other to finish off our traditions seconds before the whistle to the game blew.
North Carolina kicked off, Sky and I push forward instantly attacking them for the ball .
In the first half, nothing special happened as there was a lot of of losing possession and a couple of near chances for both of us.
The Second half arrived and we were pumped up and ready to win. I started the kickoff and passed to sky who passed it back to Sophie. we push up the field and sky crossed the ball to me where I kicked the ball inn only for it to bounce off the keeper's hands. The ball landed directly into Kate's path where she launched the ball into the top right corner of the net giving us the lead in the 48th minute.
we reset after celebrating our goal and we went into full defender mode in the 65th minute after UNC's striker Isabel received the ball and started racing down the pitch. she manged to get passed sky and I as well as our midfielders but she still had our brick wall of defenders and jade to beat first . Kayla tackled her perfectly and managed to get the balll to me where where I saw I had the opportunity to shoot from where I was which was the halfway line so I decide to just go for it .
the ball didn't move at all and it just went straight into the net with goalkeeper nowhere near it. I ran to the side line where I was jumped on by pretty much everyone.
no other action happened the rest of the game which led us to the 2-0 victory over UNC " Sky" I yelled as I run -up to sky after our victory she open her arms , picks me up and spends me around Shen then places my feet back on the ground and kisses me, I freeze for a moment before wrapping my arms around her neck kissing her back.
"It's about time you kissed her sky "....
we pull apart looking at jade and Kayla who have their arms wrapped around each other smirking at us.
"Sky, Ash, jade and Kayla come here "Coach Knight yells across the field standing next to a man , we look at each other before walking over to her. ' yes ,coach?" we asked her " guys this is Vlatko Andonovski" we looked at him surprised.
"Not trying to be rude but why are you here" Jade asked and the Uswnt coach " wanted to watch the game and I was really impressed by you four so I wanted to invite you to the next camp"
Our eyes widen and all our mouths drop "really " sky asked shocked.
He nods his head " yes I am , I think you four would make great members of the team"
" when is the next camp" Kayla asks
" good question camp is in two weeks" he said we look at each other before smiling and has at each other before replying" we would love to come its our dream "
" Okay whats your full names " he asked as he pulls out and opens a notebook and a pen .
" I Am Ashtyn Press"
"Skylyn Heath".
" Jade O'hara "
" Kayla Solo"
He looked at each of us surprised " any relations to the players on the team "? he asked
We sigh " we don't know we have all Been in the Forster system since we where lie 3-4 years old so we don't know " we easily lie through our teeth.
he just nods
