This was his moment. He, Park Jimin, could be the hero. One call and Jimin could save the man he loved Kim Taehyung from a lonely Christmas. He and he alone, could bring him a Christmas miracle, surround him with a family and give him the family Christmas he had been talking about all week. One that would put every cheesy romantic Christmas move Tae forced him to watch every year to shame. Ever since Taehyung had figured out that his parents were leaving the country for a warm Christmas instead of their traditional one he had been sad and depressed about the loss of his beloved traditional holiday celebrations.

The only catch in his genius plan was telling his eomma about it and convincing her to not let his secret out. Convince her to not embarrass him or let his family give away the simple fact that he, Park Jimin, had been in love with one Kim Taehyung since he was sixteen.

In other words, impossible.

But, for the man he loved he was going to risk it all to make him happy. But, oh how he was dreading this one simple call. The call that could change his fate. A call that gave his eomma way too much power. He took a deep breath before he psyched himself out and dialed. Making sure to smile through the the small talk so she wouldn't be suspicious he waited for it to end before he asked the question he had been dreading and yet needing the answer to since he dialed.

"Eomma, I've been waiting to talk to you about TaeTae."

"Yes honey? Did he dye his hair again?" He could hear her moving around pots and banging them in the background and the water running. Must be making some kind of dish.

"What? No? Well yes but that's not why I called you." He rolled his eyes as he bit his lip, "this time anyway. His parents are going away this year for the holidays and I wanted to ask him to come and visit us, but I wanted to make sure you were okay with it."

"Jimin honey, that's fantastic!" Pulling the phone back from his ear he flinched before he moved it back listening as he heard her drop something and the water shutting off. "I am so happy that you finally invited him down for the holidays. Oh my goodness do you know what this means?"

Jimin didn't get a chance to answer before she was off and running again. "We can finally do those cute family pictures with everyone in the same sweater that I've been dying to do. Oh with those cute funny hats."

"Eomma, why does Tae coming to the holidays mean we can do that? We can do that without him?"

She continued to ignore him, "And now with you both dating I can get you both the couples matching sweaters so that we can do that family photo with Tannie. It will be the one I show off to all the ahjummas at the market and show them that my handsome son and his boyfriend are. You two are way cuter than their stupid son's and plain & simple daughter-in-laws. I mean you two together are a model power couple."

Jimin's eyes widened as she went on about the things they were going to do and whose house she was going to take them to and who to introduce them to. After all now that she could brag about her new and future son-in-law she wanted to make sure everyone met them.

The plans she had and how proud she was was a bit more than he expected. Yes, she had always been supportive especially when she found out it was Tae that he had fallen in love with but he had never expected this. "Eomma, are you sure that you want all of this what if Tae," he didn't get to finish as he was shushed.

"Jimin, my son, I won't go so far as to say my favorite son. As, I will wait to see who gives me my first grandchild, and no pressure on that as you both are still young. But, I will need a grandchild before I determine which one of you is my favorite. Either way, you have been pinning over that boy for years since high school and I am beyond happy to welcome him to the family. He is sweet, kind and treats you well. Not to mention he is gorgeous." He heard her sigh and for a moment wondered if she was done long enough for him to clear up the misunderstanding.
