Phil's Pov;
I walked down the corridor of my school for what felt like the hundredth time, the others were quite far behind Dan and I. ."hey phil!"
Chris called "yeah" I replied "we're all going to pj's after school if you and Dan want to come" he tells me. Dan and I whisper as we decide wether or not we should go with them. "no thanks we're good" Dan tells them. The bell rings and everyone rushes of to their lessons, well everyone apart from me and Dan who hide by the lockers until everyone is gone. "thank god we're finally alone phil" he says. Dan had known I was gay for a while now, he's my best friend and I know I can trust him with anything."why" I giggle "because I saw the way you looked at that guy who walked past" he giggles back "whatever" I say as I roll my eyes. We both walk back to our class, we have English for our last lesson.
The final bell rings and we rush out the door. "Dan, unlock your car" I moan. "Hang on" he giggles. On our way back to my house Dan and i sing any song that comes on the radio, i swear we start screaming at one point. We get to my house and flop our selfs down onto the sofa. my parents are on holiday for a while, they only left yesterday which means Dan gets to stay for weeks and weeks (yay.)
Dan's Pov;
I hear phil mumbling quietly in his sleep, they don't sound like good mumbles. "phil" "PHIL, Wake up, phil." he wakes up, tears dripping down his cheeks, uneven breathing patterns "what happened" i ask "just a nightmare" he tells me.
We pause for a moment "dan" he asks "yes lion" I reply (that's my nickname for him)
"Can you stay up this side of the bed with me" he asks "of course" I reply, as I get up from the foot of Phil's bed and crawl over to his side. we cuddle up to each other and lay for a while, letting the comfortable silence fill the air around us.
