He's Dangerous But I Love Him (18+)

Chapter 4

Elana's prov.

My dad walks over to me and puts his hand on the sensitive flesh of my wolf. I flinch as he has just violated something that he knows to be handled with care.

"Elana, darling. You shouldn't have shifted, you just ruined your precious mark. Looks like you'll have to do it all again." His voice is bitter and painful to listen to. 

"I hate you for what you did to me, you fucking bastard! You and that bitch behind you will burn in Hell!" My parents and I have never used a mind link before but it doesn't matter because they got the message. I want to shift back to my human form so bad so I can try to save my mark but if I do that then my parents will definitely attack me. 

"Alex please keep them at bay. Ethan and I are going to shift back to try and save our marks."

"Okay, El but you really shouldn't be worrying about that right now." 

"Alex, we have to. If we don't then Elana and I will lose them and lose the ability to talk to one another through our minds. The marks will heal completely and not scare over, they have to scare before we shift again." Ethan says with slight anxiety in his voice, possibly just remembering that we shouldn't shift yet. My parents look at Alex expecting him to challenge our dad for the Alpha position of their pack. At this point, Alex is an omega and as soon as Ethan marked me I joined his pack.

"Hey Ethan, can Alex join your pack?" I ask trying to save my brother from this situation.

"Our pack baby, and yes of course he can. He's your brother. He just needs to recognize me and you as his Alpha and Luna." 

"He just called me Luna! That is the biggest title a female wolf can have."  I say to myself excitedly. Ethan and I get dressed quickly and take a look at our marks to make sure they still look as if they will scar over. We both turn back to face my parents before we hear dad say,

"Now Alex, your sister, and her mate have turned back to human, why haven't you son? It is very impolite, wouldn't you agree?" Immediately after he says that to Alex, he growls low and deep towards our pathic father. He turns on his heels unexpectedly before saying to the men on the ground to get up and follow him and our mother out. 

"Alex," I say calmly but sternly "Shift back. We need to talk." Alex's shift is much faster and smoother than his first. Ethan passes him some clothing to throw on before Alex asks, 

"What's going on?"

"We would like for you to join our pack, the Cold Blooded Pack." Ethan is quick to speak.

"We? What do you mean by we?" Alex asks confusingly.

"Little brother, although it isn't official yet I am Ethan's Luna which means I have the highest authority except for Ethan since he's the Alpha. " Alex looks at me even more confused than what he already was. He doesn't say another word until he looks down at my still bleeding neck.

"You're a Luna? And you're an Alpha of a pack? And you want me to be apart of your pack? But I'm still new at this and could possibly be a threat to everyone."

"Alex, if you see Elana and myself as your Alpha and Luna then you won't have to worry about being a threat to anyone. We will help you, I will help you. It's tough for a new male wolf to learn control. You need an anchor, for me, that's your sister. I learned to control by holding onto the fact that one day I would find my mate and let that be the reason why I couldn't shift based on rage. I never wanted to unintentionally hurt my mate, so when I met her, she became my anchor instead of finding my mate. So yes, I want a strong wolf such as yourself in my pack." Ethan says so confidently. Alex doesn't say another word he just lets his wolf come to the surface a bit before bowing his head as if to say he sees us as his Alpha and Luna.

***A few days later***
We're still at the hotel and everything has seemed to have calmed down. Ethan and Alex have had a few heart-to-heart moments but, Alex sees him and respects him as his Alpha. We are going to the packhouse soon but we need some new clothes. Ethan was only supposed to be at this hotel for a day and Alex and I only had two days' worth of clothes. The hotel doesn't exactly have a laundry room available and even if it did, buying new clothes would be cheaper the washing them. My mate's mark on me has completely healed so now I'm free to shift.
"Hey Ethan, I'm gonna go for a run. Do you and Alex want to come with?" I asked unsure of what either one will say.
"Actually I was going to take Alex to the store real quick but we'll meet you back here." He says sweetly.
I let the boys have my car for a few hours while I go into the woods for a hunt. They don't need to know that I hunt the people that we used to be. I'll stop...eventually. 

Shifting is easier than ever, I feel safe knowing my mate can feel when I get hurt or that I can let him in if I need to. I know I'll come back this time. Taking my time to find the perfect trail to follow. "Found ya!" I say to myself smirking slightly. "Female, bloodied from a fight but healthy, proud. I want her."  I'm not going to kill her but I will hurt her pride and gain members for our pack. Omegas are perfect, they are strong and ruthless but loyal when beaten and asked to join a pack. Tracking her is easy though she has shifted back to human.

Sorry that this took so long for me to get out to you guys. My grandmother has moved in with me and I've been doing a lot with school and work but I'm happy that I've gotten this out to you all. When I have posted this chapter it has not been edited by my editor but we will go over it soon! Hope you guys have a wonderful night!
