Elana's prov.

Waking up to immediately swing my legs over my moderately-sized bed, I look around my bedroom as I wipe the morning dust from my green eyes and grab my phone from my bedside table to check the time. Suddenly anger overwhelms my body and I feel my bones start to break in various places. I feel my eyes shift from green to a bright blue color, my fangs replace my teeth, and my silver fur replaces my pail skin.  "NO! They can't find me! They won't find me." I yell to myself trying to regain control. This has been happening a lot lately, I usually have complete control over her. I finally was able to hold her back but I can still feel her growling inside my chest.

You're probably wondering who I am and what my story is. My name is Elana Blackwood, I'm nineteen years old, I'm a five-foot, nine-inch female with long, thick, straight black hair that is just slightly past my waist. I have an athletic body, and my chest size is a D cup and I'm perfectly fit. Oh and one last thing, I am a female werewolf who left her pack at a young age but, we'll get to that in a bit.

It's quarter till twelve pm when I'm in the kitchen making lunch and the floor starts to creak behind me, I turned to see, my eyes glowing ready to fight just to see that it was my little brother. "Damnit Alex, you know better than to fucking sneak up on me! I could have seriously hurt you!" I yell at Alex, thinking that someone had tracked my sent from when I started to lose myself to my wolf. His rich hazel eyes flinch a little, I step back slightly to regain control over myself once more.

"I'm sorry El," He says in a hushed tone. "I needed to be quiet because I thought I heard something, and seeing how your the one that's already shifted I had to come to get you."

"What are you talking about? You still haven't shifted for the first time yet?" I asked taken aback by his statement. "That's aside the point, you heard someone?"

I start looking around the apartment and take in deep whiffs of the clean air to see if I can smell anyone other than my brother and myself. All of the sudden, I turn to the front door to see the knob was turning quickly. Before I was able to get to Alex, I see five men just waltz into my territory like it's nothing.

"Shit, Alex go get the bag under my bed." I tell him calmly through my mind. He turns and slowly backs away so he won't trigger the attack instinct in them. "GO!" Alex growls just under his breath. I then turn back to the five big men right in front of me. They all start snarling at me, I back away cautiously hoping I didn't need to fight them with my brother in the house. "Hello Elana," A tall, muscular man says in a deep voice. Lucky for me, Alex has the bag so we can just bolt. We start dodging and weaving to leave. The men try to block us, I know what they want. Once we get out into the misty darkness just beyond my apartment door I see my black 1960's Camaro. We both get in and Alex throws the bag in the back and I hear a slight snarl come from his parted lips. I start up the engine with my wolf purring at the sound. As we drive away there was no unrecognized car or any men following behind us, so I take a deep breath as I can finally relax and forget about this tomorrow.

"Elana, who the holly fuck were those guys and, why do they keep following us!?"

"Alex...Please, now's not the best time." I say under my breath.

"No, I have asked you every time they find us and you keep giving me the same bullshit answer! I want answers now and nothing held back!" I flinch when I hear a deeper snarl erupt from Alex's mouth this time.
"What's going on with him? Is he starting to shift and doesn't know it yet?" I ask myself.

"Alright fine, I didn't want you to find out but those guys are our old pack and they want me dead. When I was six years old I ran away never to return to our parents again because they wanted a boy and you were three so to them you still weren't strong and brave, hell you could barely hold yourself up on your own two feet." I giggle at my statement as I remember that time in our lives."To them, you would never be that strong man that they wanted for a son. They beat me and locked me away and kept me isolated from the world because they thought that I took your strength away from you... I saw something completely different, even then. I saw just how strong you were. I would sneak into your room and see you standing by yourself and then eventually start walking and running on your own. So one night when I went into your room you were sound asleep and I had already shifted for the first time so I had all my strength, I packed a bag for us, stole our parents' money and then took you while you were asleep and found a place to stay. The lady that we stayed with was a pixie and she saw everything, she gave me something to give you up until you were thirteen years old to help you forget why we moved so much." I could feel how furious Alex was becoming. The rage and hatred he was now holding for me was abundantly clear. I am angry with myself for not telling him sooner."I hated it but it was to keep you safe." I tell Alex quickly as I can feel the rage coming off of him that I have never felt before from my brother.

"So you're telling me that this entire time you've been lying to me, and possibly took the ability for me to shift away from me?" I hear a growl deep down in his chest surface.

"Alex.." I start to say knowing what is about to happen to my little brother. I was scared, I hadn't ever have to help someone with this before.

"No Elana, shut up!" He growls again. "FUCK, WHY IS EVERYTHING SO LOUD!" His growls are getting deeper and louder as he continues.

"Alex, your starting to shift. I am pulling over and we are going to get out and I am going to help you." I say calmly. He nods his head in agreement. I find a dark and secluded parking lot and pulls into it before killing the engine.

I pull Alex out of the car and start to slowly shift with him while I talk him through it.
I put my hand on his shoulder to try and calm him and to tell him that I'm here no matter what. Then I start talking to him with confidence and control.
"You're going to feel every bone in your body brake and reform themselves, you're going to feel your muscle tissue rip and tear apart, you will feel your fangs brake through your flesh and your eyes will burn to a point to where they feel like they are melting out of your eye sockets. All of that is you becoming one with your wolf, relax into the agony that you feel right now, and put all of your trust into your wolf." I tell him almost forcing him to shift. This is painful the first time unless you have someone force you to do it but, it also establishes dominance. Which is exactly what he needs right now; someone to be dominant over him.

His eyes change into a searing and bright sliver and his slightly tanned skin is slowly being replaced with pure black fur. His fangs are large, he looks strong in this form. His power is unbelievable. His wolf is almost as large as an Alpha wolf. I shifted completely so I can take my brother on his first run. He howls deeply and takes off into the woods that are beside us. I easily catch up to him.
The feeling of being free and powerful is overwhelming, I love when my silver paws glide across the wooded floor and I can tell my brother enjoys it too. He's fast but let's see if he can control his body in this form. I tackle his wolf to the soft ground but, he doesn't seem fazed by it. Alex gets up and lunges towards me, his paws flailing around like he's trying to play. This is not what I was going for but if he wants to play then that's fine by me.
We start rolling over one another as we try nipping at each others' throats. I end up underneath Alex and shift back to a human to see how he would deal with that. To my surprise, he shifts back without hesitation. He soon realizes that he's on top of me naked, then the look of embarrassment washed over his face and he immediately jumps off of me. I laugh and get up.
"Come on brother," I say with a smirk across my face.
"Let's get your clothes and go find a place to stay for the night." He nods his head and follows me back to the car.
"El, I'm sorry for how I acted." His voice filled with shame and sorrow.
"Look Alex, you have every right to be mad," I tell him sweetly without looking up from the bag.
"I betrayed you and I just wanted to protect you no matter the consequences. Here put these on then get in the car." I smile up at him.
