Hawk turned a corner in the courtyard and saw Y/N leaning against a wall, reading a book
Hawk: *goes up to Y/N* hey.
Y/N: *looks up at him* hey.
Hawk: Look, I know what you saw, and how it might look, considering he hasn't even asked you to be his girlfriend yet-
Y/N: Why hasn't he asked me? Is it too soon?
Hawk: For Demetri to get a girlfriend? Never.
Y/N: Well, then, why?
Hawk: I honestly don't know, maybe he's waiting for the right time. But besides that, he doesn't have any feelings for her.
Y/N: And you're positive on that?
Hawk: Well, no, I'm not positive...
Y/N: *closes the book and leans her head back*
Hawk: But, I know when Demetri likes girls, and he definitely feels something for you. And you clearly feel something for him.
Y/N: *looks at Hawk*
Hawk: Alright?
Y/N: Yeah, okay.
Hawk: Now, I'm not really a hugger but, *smiles a little and hugs Y/N*
Y/N: *hugs him back* Thanks, Hawk.
Hawk: No problem *smiles*
By the time they had finished talking, lunch was over and the two walked to their hallway to their lockers, when they noticed Demetri was over at his, next to Yasmine, and Hawk and Y/N were able to hear clearly
Yasmine: So, Demetri?
Demetri: Yeah?
Yasmine: Could you help me with my math test?
Demetri: Um, yeah, sure why not.
Y/N: *listening and looks at Hawk*
Hawk: *looks back at Y/N, also listening*
Yasmine: Great. Hopefully, I get an A.
Demetri: I'm sure you will.
Yasmine: *smiles and touches Demetri's arm and then leaves*
Demetri: *smiles softly then looks back in his locker for his book*
Y/N: *looks at Demetri, then Hawk*
Hawk: *looks at Y/N*
Y/N: *closes her locker and walks to her class*
Hawk: *follows after her*
The school day continued to go on and eventually, it was over. Demetri walked to the school courtyard with Miguel, and Hawk was waiting for Y/N, until he saw her past him.
Hawk: Y/N!
Y/N: *turns around and saw Hawk and went to the side with him* Oh hey. Where are the others, did you come out before them? *turns her head to look behind her*
Hawk: No, I waited for you.
Y/N: Oh, why?
Hawk: Look, I feel bad about the whole Demetri/Yasmine situation. Not that there is a situation, but you know, you're new and I don't want you to end up getting hurt by someone like Demetri.
Y/N: It's not like I can even get hurt by him, we're not together. *starts walking out to the courtyard*
Hawk: *follows after her* But you should be.
The two saw the group talking together and went to them
Miguel: There you guys are.
Y/N: Here we are.
Miguel: Took you long enough, we have practice.
Hawk: Like we didn't know that.
Miguel: *looks at Sam* Do you guys have practice, like every day too?
Sam: Yep.
Yasmine: *walks over to them* Hey, are we talking about karate?
Sam: Yeah, actually.
Hawk: And you care why?
Yasmine: Well, I mean, Miyagi-Do. Great doo, right? *looks at Demetri*
Demetri: Um, yeah totally.
Yasmine: *smiles then looks at Y/N* Y/N, how's Cobra Kai treating you?
Y/N: It's uh, it's great.
Yasmine: I wonder if Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai will go head to head in the tournament. I know which team I'll be rooting for *smiles at Demetri*
Sam: I'm in the same dojo as him, Yas. It's basically literally my dojo.
Yasmine: Duh, of course I know that. But this is new for Demetri.
Hawk: You could've just joined Cobra Kai, man.
Demetri: Well maybe I didn't want to fight all "no mercy"
Hawk: You're gonna get your butt kicked in every fight if you take lessons from LaRusso.
Sam: Hawk, our dojo is for a better cause. It's self-defense, from the people who strike first, aka Cobra Kai.
Hawk: Yeah, when you give us a reason to. Y/N, help me out.
Sam: *looks at Y/N*
Y/N: Look, both dojos have their positives and negatives, but-
Yasmine: How does Miyagi-Do have a negative?
Y/N: Well, for one, how would they ever win a fight if they're the ones who don't start?
Sam: We finish the fight.
Y/N: Maybe don't give us a reason to fight in the first place.
Miguel: Okay, okay, okay. Girls, please.
Sam: Come on, Demetri, we have practice. *starts walking away*
Demetri: *looks at Sam then Y/N*
Sam: Demetri.
Demetri: *walks away*
Hawk: See, we won that fight. And we'll always win it.
Y/N: That wasn't a fight, that was a just... a little disagreement.
Hawk: But who shut who up?
Miguel: Me.
Hawk: *looks at Miguel then shakes his head* Come on, we gotta get going.
