If I had told my 15 year old self about the events that would begin to unravel over the next 5 years she wouldn't have believed me. Growing up I'd always been big on romantic love and I convinced myself that my first love would be my only love.
However things didn't really work out that way.
It's been a journey of finding myself and learning from my mistakes. Learning about love and life and learning that not every story has its Happily Ever After like I had once believed.
Unfortunately for me this story doesn't have a happy ending. Not yet anyway.
And although so much has happened over the years, so much has been gained and lost; I still feel in some ways that my life is really just beginning.
