Your eyes slowly open as you adjust to the sun filled the whole interior of your bedroom. You remove the covers off of your body to see your husband Seungcheol's arms wrapped around your waist. You looked over at him, who was still fast asleep, and slowly removed his hands from around you and made your way down the hall into the second bedroom.
You quietly peaked your head in the door to see that your 2 month old daughter was awake, playing with her feet while your 5 year old daughter was still fast asleep in her bed. You made your way toward her crib and smiled as you picked her up and placed her in your arms as she smiled up at you while cooing.
"Hey mommy's little girl." You said in a baby accent as you smiled at her
You exited out the room, making sure to close the door quietly behind you, as you made your way back into the master's bedroom. Upon arrival, you see that your husband has shifted closer to your side as of the bed as his arms are wrapped around your pillow.
"Damn Seungcheol, I was only gone for like 5 seconds." You said quietly to yourself as you made your way over to the bed
You sat down on the bed as you you got back under the covers while playing with your 2 month old. You always thought having a child would be a pain in the ass and it would probably hurt your marriage but, it's the complete opposite. You and seungcheol have gotten closer than ever since you've had your two bundles of joy and your glad it did.
You place your daughter on the bed and began to change her as you grab a nearby diaper and wipes from your end table. Once you were done you discard of it properly and place her on her feet as you talked to her
"You know you look just like your dad?" You tell your infant as she just looks at you and smiles
"Hopefully you don't act like him when you get older." You say causing her to giggle and so did you
You then felt a shift coming from the other side of the bed, causing you to look over and she seungcheol's eyes flutter open. He gives you a sleepish smile as he sits up properly on the bed.
"Good morning babies." He said kissing your lips as he picks up the child from your hands
"Good morning gabbie." He said laying back on the bed as he held her in the air as she giggled
Gabbie was definitely a daddy's girl while your first born, journey, was a mommy's girl. You then heard the door open and look up to see her standing there with her teddy bear in hand as she wiped her eyes.
"Good morning sleepyhead." You said as you smiled in her direction
"Am not." She said walking toward your side of the bed
"Am too." You said
Once she reaches you, you picked her up and placed her in the middle of the bed and lay her down.
"What do y'all want for breakfast?" You asked getting off the bed
"I want pancakes." Your daughter says happily
"What about you sir?" You asked your husband as you make your way towards the bedroom door
"You." He says with a smirk on his lips
"Daddy you can't eat mommy." Journey says as she grabs her tablet off the end of the bed
"She likes to get eaten o—"
"Shut up." You say as you throw a nearby pillow at his face causing him to laugh
You made your way down the steps towards the kitchen and began to prepare your ingredients for today's meal. This morning you decided to make some pancakes, eggs, bacon and some fruits on the side. While you were in the middle of making your meal, you felt a stinging sensation on your butt, causing you to gasp aloud.
"Now what if I would have burnt myself then what?" You asked as you turn around to see your husband standing there
"But you didn't sooo." He said as he grabbed a strawberry from the bowl
"Can you move out of my personal space, please and thank you." You said pushing him away towards the other counter
"And what if I don't?" He asks placing his hands around your waist
"You really woke up and chose to be annoying today." You said as you placed all the items in pan
"Mommy my iPad died." You heard your daughter yell from upstairs
"Your dad is coming honey. Go charge your daughters iPad." You instructed him
He then walked upstairs, giving you a moments peace as you continued making the food. About 15 minutes later, you were done and had began fixing the table up and placing everything on the plates.
"Everyone come eat." You said and shortly after, footsteps could be heard rushing down the steps
You then seen journey and her dad rushing towards the kitchen as he had gabbie in his hands. You shook your head as you placed their plates at the table.
"I'll be back." You said as you took gabbie out of his hands and went into the nearby guests bathroom
You closed the door behind you as you lifted up your shirt and began to breastfeed her. A few seconds later an intruder entered, your husband, and closed the door behind him as he walked up to you while sitting on the sink counter.
"It's crazy to think we're actually parents, us, out of all people." He said causing you to let out a small chuckle
"Right, it's still so surreal to me." You said looking down at Gabbie who had her eyes closed now
He then sat next to you on the floor as he looked up at you
"I'm glad it happened with you. I can't picture my life without you in it now." He said
"Well, we're soulmates for a reason." You said looking down at him
"I love you." He aid giving you his signature smile
"I love you too dork." You said chuckling a bit as he did the same
