Elena's POV: (Opening thoughts)

I've had a shower, in my new dressing gown that was brought specifically today and now Alice is just coming to do my make up, Bella is doing my nails as that is the most that Alice will let her do.

"What did I say about beauty sleep?" Alice asks as she sees the dark circles under my eyes.

I blink as I had been in a world of my own. "Sorry, bad dream. It was wedding jitters."

Bella rolls her eyes as Alice applies some undereye makeup. As Bella finishes my nails and puts the stuff away, Rosalie enters actually looking kind.

"Do you need some help?" She asks and we all look shocked at her. "I could do her hair so you can start getting ready Bella."

"Really?" I ask as Bella begins to head for the bathroom but she is going so slow I know she is listening.

Rosalie smiles before coming forward and standing behind me so I am looking at her through the mirror. She touches my hair gently.

"Please," she says in a tone as soft as her fingers. "I'm not offended by your choice of groom."

"Just my blatant lack of respect for mortality," I point out to her.

"Essentially," she says.

Wow! I look down as Bella finally goes into the bathroom for some privacy.

"Weddings," Alice says side-hugging Rosalie. "They bring everyone together!"

When they have finished my hair, Bella is now about to get in her dress, that Alice had picked out. At least its floor length as Bella would never have anything too flashy.

"Alice? Elena? Bella!" I hear mum call out and Bella leaves her dress alone for a second.

"In here mom," she says and mum enters just before Rosalie steps out of the way so my mum can see my hair and make up.

Mum gasps.

"Oh my gosh!" She says putting her hands to her mouth before tears appear before she glances from me to Bella and back again. "You're both so beautiful. Oh girls, crap my miscarer," her makeup is beginning to run so Alice holds out a handkerchief to her as we all laugh. "Thanks... Charlie get in here!"

"You sure?" Charlie asks as he comes around the corner and my mouth drops open in shock. "I don't wanna!"

Bella's eyes have also widened as I get to my feet. My dad really cleans up in his suit.

"WOW! Dad!" Bella says.

"I know! I look hot!" Charlie says as I raise my hand to my mouth in shock and everyone laughs at my reaction.

"We thought you needed something blue," mum says as Charlie holds out a gift box and opens it to see a hair piece complete with blue sapphires.

"And something old," Charlie tells me. "Besides your mother."

Mum scoffs. "Nice," I pick up the lovely looking gift being gentle.

"It was Grandma Swan's," Charlie explains where they got it.

"But we added the sapphires," Mum finishes.

"It's beautiful you guys," I tell them shocked how beautiful the item is, before passing it to Alice to place in my hair which is so neat and platted I know she'd do better than me. "Wow! It's beautiful!"
