Third Person POV:

The time passed as Milly stayed still on the ground still in pain, but more tolerable. The thing that kept Milly's mind racing was Oreo's whole mood change just like a girl on her period. Comes to find out that the man that Oreo known as his master for his whole life was up and gone. He didn't know where his master could've gone but he didn't think he would leave him just like that. So there Oreo sat and waited, and waited, and waited some more. Until all the dogs and other creatures were out and about, except for Milly who watched with curiosity at the dog.

"A-are you o-okay" Milly timidly asked and he slowly sat up. Oreo just kept his head down and didn't make a peep. "I'm h-here if you want to t-talk. I may not know you but everyone n-needs a listener." Milly didn't know why he was so curious about the dog but he felt like he wanted to know more about him on a personal level. "My name is M-Milly by the way." Milly didn't know why he was stuttering in front of the dog when they don't even know each other.

"Stop stuttering. It's annoying," Oreo barked at the stuffed animal with as much venom as he could muster up.

Oreo turned towards the scared stuffy and stared at it like a creep. For a few minutes they just sized each other up in silence until Milly broke the tension. "Umm why were you so u-upset?"

"It's none of your business." The dog said as he turned his head away from Milly and looked up at the dark sunlit sky. "Why do you even care?" Oreo said as he turned back to the stuffy, giving him a curious look.

Milly was at a loss for words until he finally stood up on his still injured ankle and walked closer towards Oreo. "It's not good to hold your emotions inside because you'll just feel numb inside."

Oreo looked at Milly with his big glossy eyes while tears spilled from his eyes. He took his words in, thinking about all the times he didn't listen to his master and made him mad. "I-I it's all m-my fault. My master left because of me. He should've just l-left me in that horrible dog shelter, at least I could die without r-regrets." Oreo started stuttering out nonsense while Milly carefully walked to him and held his head in his hands.

"Whatever happened it's not your fault and don't ever think it's your fault. I may not know you but I can tell that you're amazing and kindhearted." Milly said with tears in his eyes as he gave Oreo a hug.

They stayed at the park for God knows how long, talking, laughing, and staring at the starry midnight sky.
