8 years later

I yawned as I got out of bed, it was early in the morning I could feel the cold air in the room. Usually I wouldn't wake up till later but I knew I had some things to do this morning, so I stood up and my white wings fluffed out . you may be wondering why the hell I should have my wings well I'm not exactly human lets just say that. I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed as i started to turn to walk down the stairs. As i exited my room i ran straight into my best friend Shadow. I said "oh im sorry i didn't mean to bump into you." He had a small smile on his face when he said "its ok i dont think you saw me, wait Cynder are you ok you look like you've been crying.." I replied " Yeah im fine don't worry Shad nothin's wrong." He gave me a look of worry and continued to walk down the hall. I stared after him as he walked away. Shadow has more of a lanky build he's about 6'2 and he has black wings. He has been my friend ever since i was 10 when he saved my brother and I from a dragon attack. He is extremely strong at at the age of 11 he could kill a full grown dragon (which in retrospect is quite hard to do even if someone has trained there whole life) i have always sorta wanted to be more than friends with him but i just don't want to be the first one to admit it. I looked back into the comfort of my bedroom and then turned. i walked nonchalantly into my twin brother's room. All you could see of him was his plume of blonde hair sticking out of the blankets I poked the sleeping mass that i call my brother. He grumbled as he sat up, his long blonde hair falling in his eyes as he try's and fails at it. i said "chase you need to get up or we will eat everything down stairs." he sighs and says ok as he stands up. i took a brush to his tangled hair. I muttered under my breath when are you gonna get this mess cut? he laughs and says " But i like it long and thats how its gonna stay, now just braid it will you?" i laughed and said " alright asshat."

We sat around our small wooden table as we ate in silence. Shadow was the one who finally broke it , "so, how are all of you?" He asks in a casual way. i looked up over my bowl of cereal "dude if you try to start a conversation like that all that it is going to end up as will be that it ends in a very awkward and confusing way for all of us." he laughs a bit and retorts with " well the silence is like someone just died c'mon guys whats up with all of you . Your all acting like the worlds gonna end." Chase snorted " he's always like that no matter what you say the asshole cant be happy if he was high on crack." "Shut up chase." i punched my brother in the arm he laughed. Harley , another one of my friends walks down the stairs and yawns as he messes up Shadows hair. " Well good morning all of you , so whats the deal everyone is so quiet . " Just not in the mood for talkin i guess" chase answers . Harleys look of utter confusion was quite hilarious if i might add... Shadow finnaly said are you going to sit down or now juggalo ? " hey man i dont think im an actuall juggalo chill man." he sat down in a huff as i helped charlie serve breakfast . I looked up the stares " hes not awake yet is he?" nope i think he probably just wants to stay asleep all day ." i laughed ok i will go wake up the residential man-child.
I walked up the stares and entered his room. Who i mean by him is one of my oldest friends. One of the few people that i actually know that are still alive actually . I poked him "Gabriel get up lazy butt." i crawled up into the bed next to him. All yoy could see of him was his mess of blonde curls and his semi fluffy cat ears . I petted his head and thought 'maybe it would be best just to let him sleep' then i looked down and saw a light gold eye poking up through the mess of hair to look at me . I said "well so you are actually awake " he grumbled and sat up . He said "good morrning " i laughed and said good morrning to him and then climbed back off of his bed . "oh breakfast is ready down stairs if your hungry" ok he whispered . I walked out and back down into the kitchen.

"Is this really necessary ?" i say as im riding on horse back. Shadow looks over his shoulder "And yes Cynder this is completely necessary ." "what do we need with your stupid little brother anyway?" "Lusious will help us with strategies and weponds selection for the raid i already briefed you on this...." "oh ya hahaha i forgot ." i said smiling like a complete idiot and rubbing the back of my neck . I looked over the ridge and saw it. "so thats whats left of Luna after the attacks ... " "yes theres nothing of what used to be a beautiful city left ." shadow honesly looked heartbroken as we went . I was watching the city as we road the small path down from the mountian side it was true the war was doing more harm than we expected. It took us about another half hour before we got to the main gates of the city. Shadow stared at the broken bulidings and desecrated shops. " I remember how busy these streets used to be ." he mumbled . " there were so many people here. I cant believe he would do this. These were his own people i dont understand." " i know shad but all we can do now is find Lusious and get the hell outta here before something bad happens. " We finnaly found the place were supposedly Lusious resides. I knew from that point on it was going to be a rough day.
