When shadow jumped off the horse he looked back at me. " come on cynder he should be in here." i gulped looking at the decated remnants of what used to be a cottage of some sort. It was a small brown structure with black tiles decorating the roof, some had fallen off and you could clearly see there was a giant hole in the left most part of the roof. Both front windows were on the brink of shatter and some of the glass on the door window was missing. I looked at shadow, "Are you so sure this is the place? I doupt he is here. This house is completely falling apart." " he is here don't worry the house is not gonna fall on you alright." i huffed and grunted a reply as he gently knocked on the door. It slowly opened to a semi dark room , with a light hanging from the ceiling . There was a soft almost completely unheard groan from the side of the room as a boy looked up at us. His long purple hair hung to about the middle of his back ( or down the front of his shirt stopping just below his ribcage from my angle ) he looked as if he had been sleeping when the door had opened. He gave a startled cry as he looked up , fire danced in his violet colored eyes. " who the hell are you ? " completely forgetting about me standing right there. " lucius you dont remeber me?" shadow asked bewildered . Then he cocked his head to the side a wolf - like ear poking up out of his hair. " Shadow ? Is that really you well it looks like you..." he leans up and sniffs shadows hand . " it smells like you..." shadow put his hand on lucius's head before he could lick him. " It is you!" lucius exclaimed happily . Hugging shadow tightly . "oh god .... I forgot your extremely clingy ." shadow sighed as he said it. I smiled as lucius looked up and said " uhhh shadow is this your girlfriend ?" shadow 's face lit up with a bright pink blush as he looked from me to lucius. " umm no... She's my best friend Cynder." lucius just looked and him for a moment and blinked "oh okay." he said not taking his eyes off of me. " why not the sexual tention between you and her is crushing me over here ." shadow's face turned a whole new shade of red and said "lucius we aren't here to talk about relationships at the moment we need you help in finding something." lucius sighed "lemme guess your looking for the Scyth again huh? Yeah yeah i know ' but wait how in gods great name would you know about the Scyth' well big bro there are lots of things you just dont know about me alright and before you can ask i have no freaking clue were that damned thing is." i sighed and looked at shadow "so basically we road on horseback for 3 days just to find your brother that dosent know anything ?" "pretty much..." sahdow said with a sigh. " at least we found you lucius ." he said . "Yeah i just ran out of food so you guys are lifesavers ." smilling up at as "so what are we waiting for? Christmas ? Lets go."
