Will this story be published? Yes! I am going to begin the process of getting this published, either traditionally or self-publishing, starting with a thorough editing. I'd love to hear your thoughts on anything you felt was missing or lacking. Any feedback would be great!
Will it be removed from Wattpad when I publish it? I've decided against taking it down when it's available for purchase. First of all, the vast majority of my readers are too young to own a credit card and I still want to share this story with them. But for those who can buy a copy, I'm planning on offering a professionally edited and much expanded version. There are going to be longer Jess and Marty moments and new scenes with bonus material I couldn't include here, like what happened to Marty after he broke up with Jess. Keep this story in your Library because I'll be making an announcement in this story with a new chapter when it's available to buy.
Is there going to be a sequel? No, there won't be I'm afraid. That's because if I wrote one, I'd have to break up Marty and Jess, and all of you would hate me for that. LOL Let's let them be happy for the rest of their lives.
The slideshow is all the wonderful fan art I've received from readers. Thank you! The video is one I almost used for the chapter where Uncle Jonathan has his Christmas Party, but I decided against it because titling the chapter "It's Only Make Believe" (by Conway Twitty) would have given too much away. In any case, it's a great video showing the beginning of the Saturday Night Beech-Nut Show with Dick Clark on January 17th, 1959 and I didn't want to miss out being able to use it.

Oh, and the video in the previous chapter, God Only Knows by the Beach Boys, is the only one I used that came out significantly later than the time period of the chapter it was paired with, but I think it was the perfect song to end Jess and Marty's story.
