Chapter I: Grocery shopping

*3rd POV*

In Tenguu City, one of the most active cities considering spacialquakes, a phenomenon that first appeared thirty years ago causing partial land deletion, lives a guy, he's going to school like every other teenager does, he never was interested in romance, all he wanted was a peaceful life but despite that his female best friend didn't give him any. She pestered him about homework, that he was always quiet and mainly if he found himself a girlfriend. Right now the boy was sitting on his chair at the back row in his last class. The girl was sitting on his left, looking at him throughout the class.

*Y/N's POV*

The bell finally rang when I started to pack my stuff, but then a familiar shadow appeared in front of me... I didn't even have to look up to know who it is.

You: "What do you want Mia."

Mia: "Oh Y/N, how'd you know it was me?"

You: "Because you do this every single break Mia."

Mia: "Hehe~ you know me too well. So what I wanted to ask is if you have any plans now, like going to the beach or-"

You: "Yeah I have... my fridge's empty, I gotta go shopping."

I was living on my own, my parents work in United Arab Emirates and left me here but I decided like that, luckily they send me money monthly so I wouldn't starve to death.

Mia: "Oh nice, I could join you if you want~"

You: "I can do the shopping myself Mia but thanks for your offer, now excuse me I have to go."

???: "You guys are sure she's into him? Doesn't look like he gives much attention"

I didn't think anything of that, others just think I'm Mia's love interest but don't give her any attention. Truth is I don't care what others think about me.

Mia: "Why would I be interested in someone like him?"

You: "Exactly..."

I was about to leave the class but Mia being stubborn as she is joined me. You're giving them the wrong idea as always Mia...

Mia: "You sure you don't need my help?"

You: "No, not at all."

Mia: "You're eating well right? Healthily and regularly."

You: "Yes I do, Mia... you ask that every time."

We went to the locker room to change our shoes and got out, I went towards the city while separating with Mia who went to do her own things.

I bought some vegetables, fruit but also some pastry, cheese and since I wanted something sweet I bought also a chocolate. When I left the store with bag full of groceries someone bumped into me, we hit our heads and so we both fell on the ground, my groceries rolled all over the place.

You: "Ow, hey watch it."

???: "Reverse: You should do the same." I looked at the owner of that feminine voice... and for the first time I felt my heart beat a little faster, she was so pretty. She had ginger hair that were long tied up to a knee-lengh ponytail with two simple separated strands in a pigtail, her eyes were a combination of gray and blue

???: "Help: Can you help me get all these letters?"

She has a... very specific way of talking I see...
