The Gate to the Potter cottage in Godrics Hollow creaked open, as a Hooded figure glided up towards the front door. Alina Evans was babysitting that night for her Daughter and Son-in-law. They had a very important meeting to be at. Alina had just put the children to Bed and made herself a pot of tea when the front door blasted off of it's hinges. Before she could comprehend what was happening a green bolt of light shot towards her and her body slumped to the ground. Voldemort proceeded up the stairs to bedrooms above. He knew that the Potter's had two children. But he didn't know if the prophecy reffered to the 4 year old or the 1 year old. As he entered the nursery, his eyes spied the children sleeping soundlessly. They had shared a cot. The child on the left had light brown hair that seemed untamable even at this young age. He surmised there was nothing powerful about this youngster so the child from the Prophecy had to be the older brother.

Speaking of said brother. Voldemort turned and was met by a small boy with luscious Raven hair and Hauntingly beautiful green eyes, they were so bright they rivalled the Killing curse itself. The child looked at him with curiosity. Most people when looking upon the man had fear in their eyes and shivered. But this child was staring at him defiantly as if daring him to do what he was about to do. Voldemort let out a soft chuckle. "Yes, you are definitely the one from the Prophecy young Harry. You would've been a great wizard I'm sure. But I can't allow you to get in my way."
With that he brandished his wand and shot the killing curse at the boy. But as if in slow motion he saw the curse bounce of an invisible shield and ricocheted right back at him, striking him in the chest. The last thing he saw before he disappeared was those haunting green eyes closing slowly. Harry was thrown back into the cot and passed out from the magical exhaustion. The roof caved in and a shard of glass slashed an X onto the arm of Youmg Charles who woke up screaming.

Everyone was seated around the table in 12 Grimmauld place. Dumbledore sat at the head of the table looking at the map infront of him. Voldemort and his followers were suspiciously quiet of late and that was worrying. Dumbledore knew that Tom knew of the Prophecy. He had instructed the Potter's and Longbottoms to go into Hiding. And when things got quiet they slowly rejoined in the war effort.

Suddenly James Potter sprung up from his seat shouting "No. Nonononono!" And rushed towards the nearest apparition point. Lily's eyes widened as she realised why her husband had rushed off. Having felt the wards around the cottage fall. She rushed to her feet Yelling "Hadrian! Charles! Oh no." This got everyone's attention as she, Dumbledore and Mcgonagall rushed towards the apparition point and dissapeared with a pop.

They arrived at the house to find Lily's mum dead in the kitchen. The broken tea cup still in hand, and they rushed up the stairs to the Nursery. Lily rushed over to James who had a crying Charles in his arms. "He's ok Lils, and look I think he has the mark." Dumbledore walked over to inspect the mark and seemed him to be the Boy-who-lived. While they fussed over Charles, Mcgonagall moved towards the cot and picked up Harry. Her Godson looked absolutely drained. "Albus, there's something wrong with Harry." She stated frantically as the boy didn't wake up. Dumbledore walked over while James and Lily walked out of the room. Completely forgetting the fact that they had another child. Dumbledore waved his wand over Harry and sighed. "He'll be fine Minerva, he just passed out due to the magical backlash. Strange... seems the boy has almost no magic at all. He's practically a squib!" Dumbledore stated and turned to leave the room.
Mcgonagall looked down at the sleeping boy in her arms. "Albus must be losing it in his old age." She muttered to herself. She knew the signs of magical exhaustion. Hadrian would be a powerful wizard one day. And she would help him along the way.
