The First Halo

You hear through the door, "Nova!...NOVA WAKE UP! You wake up noticing that it's past breakfast and- SHOOT! "OKAY OKAY, LAINE I'M UP!" You hurry and get dressed and bust out of your door. "Sorry I'm late." you say. "Who cares about that COME ON NOVA we need to get to the fountain before it's too late!" You quickly get your coat on and hurry to Divinia Park. 

You see Laine almost at the fountain and quicken your pace. You quickly make your wish and close your eyes. Then, "OMG LAINE I GOT THE HALO!" "Wait, REALLY?!" You show her the halo to prove it. "LUCKY Nova!" You get back to the school to start classes. "I can't wait to show everyone Laine, you?" "Yea Nova I can't wait!"

 You and Laine hurry to English Class and show everyone the halo. "Wow", "Lucky", and "Amazing" is all you hear until the teacher quiets everyone down. The teacher sees the halo and congrats you getting the halo. After classes you think about your life now that you have the halo. Maybe you can impress the popular kids and maybe become friends. Either way you can't wait to show your mom tomorrow night. "Good night Laine." you say. "Good night Nova" 

The next morning you wake up early to start packing some clothes before going to your house for the weekend. You go to wake up Laine. Luckily, her door is always unlocked. You barge into the room screaming "LAINE GET UP ITS THE WEEKEND" She grumbles "It's the weekend so I sleep in." "OH COME ON." you say pulling she out of bed. "NOVA" Laine says sternly. "WHAT?" You say. "Just get up and pack your bags PLEASE!" "FINE Nova" She says. 

After packing you go to get your halo from your secret safe. No one knows about the safe, so the halo is pretty much safe and- wait where is it? "LAINE DID YOU STEAL MY HALO?!" You shout loudly. "NO I DIDN'T" You searched around her room just in case and don't find it. You start sobbing. "Nova, don't cry it's fine." "IT'S NOT FINE LAINE" you shout still sobbing. 

After a lot of sobbing and trying to calm down. "Hey Nova?" "Yes?" you reply. "Let's look at the news maybe it might say where it is there?" You and Laine look at the news and find the head title shocking. 'All Halos Gone From Anyone Who Had One' "OH HOLY GUACAMOLE" You say. "Nova, calm down, see a lot of people have that same problem." Then, "WAIT, EVERYONE....OH NO!" Laine says. You go to the police and fill out a report. They said that they need some detectives to help, and asked them. Secretly, You and Laine are both detectives and were ready for the job.
