About 3 weeks later. Beginning of February.
I didn't really talk to Viena that much anymore. After what I said that one night, she avoids me. From my bathroom, where I was brushing my hair, I heard my door open. Before I could see who it was they left. On my bed was a wrapped box.
From Riddle. The card read. Riddle? She never would call herself that when it came to me. Was she really that mad? I opened the box. Inside was a red heart filled with small chocolates. I smiled and placed one in my mouth. I had to go see her, thank her. I closed the box and walked out of my dorm. She would have been in the great hall, eating breakfast.
"Draco," Astoria said as I stood outside the door to the Great Hall.
"Oh, hi." She smiled at me. Her beautiful smile. Her beautiful face. I forgot about Viena completely.
"What are you doing for valentines?" she asked.
"I guess I'll be with you," I smirked. She smiled and grabbed my hand. We walked towards my dorm.
Viena's Pov
I saw Draco hold Astoria's hand. What happened to "I don't want a relationship?" I looked down at my plate. Eating didn't feel like the most important thing at the moment. Pansy sat across from me.
"I'm sorry," she mumbled.
"What?" I replied.
"I," she started. "I heard what Blaise did. At least I found out. I'm sorry I didn't believe you."
"Oh. It's fine."
"Why aren't you eating?"
"Not hungry." I picked up my books. Without saying anything else, I left the Great hall. My stomach growled quietly. I should have eaten.
6 days later. narrators pov.
Viena and Draco went from talking every second of the day, to every day, to once a week to have sex, to never talking at all in the span of a month. Draco walked through the halls, holding hands with Astoria while Viena would watch from the corners, mind full of jealousy. Draco and Astoria walked into potions class and sat down.
"Has anyone seen Miss Riddle today? She's missed all her classes?" Snape said as everyone took their seats.
"No," they all replied.
"Mr. Malfoy," Snape muttered. "You were very close with her. Any idea?"
"No," Draco whispered. He looked at Astoria. It wasn't natural. They never would have gotten together. Draco didn't even like her.
"Maybe go try and find her. She can't keep skipping."
"Fine," Draco groaned. "Bye." He kissed Astoria and left the room.
"Viena?" he whispered as he knocked on her door. He opened it slowly to reveal her empty room. The blankets on her bed where messed up, but her uniform was still hanging up. He closed the door and walked out of the common room. He walked towards the courtyard, where he knew the Weasley twins would be, after all it was their free period.
"Weasleys," he muttered.
"What are you doing here Malfoy?" Fred snapped.
"Yeah shouldn't you be in your dorm having your weekly hookup?" George said immediately after Fred.
"Ugh," Draco groaned. "Can I have the Marauder's Map?"
"Why?" Fred glared at him.
"I need to find Viena." George scoffed and took it out of his pocket. A couple seconds later, he spoke.
"Astronomy Tower."
"Thanks Weasley." Draco made his way towards the Astronomy Tower. He saw Viena sitting with her back to the railing and a small book in her hand.
"Hey Riddle," he yelled. She slammed her book shut and looked at him.
"Hi," she mumbled. He sat down next to her, to which she responded with moving away.
"Why are you skipping all your classes?" he asked.
"None of your business." She moved further away.
"Ok," he started. Getting distracted, he continued talking. "Astronomy sounds just like Astoria. She's so pretty. I might ask her to be my Valentine." Viena scoffed.
"What's it with you and her? You hated her." She whispered under her breath, "You loved me."
"I've always loved her."
"No you haven't. What's going on with you?"
"I'm sorry that you're in love with me-"
"I am not!"
"You sent me a box of chocolates! Of course you're in love with me!"
"Fucking when?" She stood up and he did the same.
"At the beginning of the month!"
"I didn't even talk to you at the beginning! All you want to do is have sex with me! Why would I want that?"
"Come to my dorm! You'll fucking see!" He grabbed her wrist, strong enough so she couldn't escape. Once he reached the dorm, he went to his desk and showed her the box.
"See!"
"I never sent that." She looked at the card. "Why would I send you something under the name Riddle? I don't even want to be a Riddle!" Her eyes had a small amount of tears in them. She opened the box and was covered in the scent of love potion.
"Come on Draco." She grabbed his wrist and the box. "We're going to see Snape."
"Professor?" she asked with Draco still in her hand.
"Finally Miss Riddle. Take your seat," Snape groaned.
"Actually I was wondering if I could speak with you for a second." A couple people looked at them.
"Fine. Everyone continue reading. Malfoy take your seat."
"Actually," she cut him off. "Draco needs to be here."
"Ok," he said hesitantly. The three walked out of the room.
"Draco's under a love potion. And a very strong one." Draco stared at the ceiling mouthing words about Astoria.
"How do you know?"
"A box of chocolates. Can you fix him?"
"I can try." Snape walked into his classroom and grabbed a vial. He handed it to Viena. She put it to Draco's lips and forced him to drink it. Draco coughed a couple times.
"What are you looking at?" he snapped. Viena smiled.
"Get Draco back to his dorm. He may have a few side effects so you can be excused for the day." Viena nodded.
