Hope

Chapter 14

It was The morning of the very long-waited day. Walter was going to be hanged infront of everyone who had been starved by him. On thier head was Ethan, Robert, Clara,Lucie, katherine, Steven, Julia and of course Demietry who has been waiting for this moment for so long. Walter was standing waiting for his black moment when the soldier asked him if there was any last words he wanted to say. Walter replied:" yes, I want to tell Demietry something."
"What do you want?" D. Said
"I'm so sorry Demietry." Walter said that looking at Julia who was standing beside Demietry and holding his arm.
"Huh, Sorry! For what? You've done many things what exactly are you sorry about ?" D. Asked
"I'm sorry for not killing your father earlier. I'm sorry for not killing this girl standing beside you. I'm sorry for not toturing you at every moment I could do it." W.
Demietry couldn't take it, he took out his sword and jumped up to walter with his sword on his neck and said "I truly wish to cut off your neck right now instead of waiting you to be hanged like those people waiting here , but I know that you want me  to do this and it's in your dreams that I'll do anything you want it to happen."
The gaurds were about to arrest Demietry when the king ordered them to stop. Demietry took down his sword and went back to Julia who was shaking of fear. She was afraid on Demietry, she thought that he might do anything that will keep him in jail forever. When Demietry saw tears in Julia's eyes, he rushed towards her and hugged her as if he was hiding her from the whole world. Julia was then sure that Demietry was the one who will make her safe and she will never be afraid with him. It was the moment that everyone was waiting for, the rope was placed on Waler's neck and he was Hanged! Finally, the world was released from the black shadow on its sun. Everyone who had seen this event was happy but Thomas.......

Thomas was Walter's son who no one ever knew of his existance but Julia. When Walter kept her at his castle, he went to see her from time to time ,gave her food and talked with her to interest her. Now, any pity Thomas had was gone. He had seen his father killed infront of him and seen the person who threatened him with the sword before the hanging. He didn't know what had his father done to recieve this hatred as he didn't know that Julia was his life. Demietry, julia, ethan, lucie, katherine, steven, robert and clara went to the garden. Robert and Lucie sat together, Katherine and Ethan who were getting closer to each other day after a day were talking happily together, Demietry, steven and Clara were talking about the wedding while Julia left them all and went to sit beneath a tree reading a book. Suddenly, she felt someone behind her. When she turned to see who, she found Thomas!
" Oh my God! Thomas, you freaked me out!" J.
"I'm sorry Julia, I didn't mean it." T.
"Never mind,Um, I'm sorry for your father." J. Said pitifully
"Thank you, Julia. I'm sorry about what my father had done to you." T.
"It was not your fault, Thomas." J.
Demietry was searching for Julia to tell her that thier wedding was set to be tommorrow. He saw her standing with a man and he thought that she might be in a trouble so, he went to see her.
"Julia, is everything okay?" D.
When Thomas saw Demietry, the man who tried to cut off his father's neck he was confused and anxious.
"Oh Demietry, let me introduce to you Thomas. My saver when I was at Walter's , and Thomas,this is Demietry, my vioncèe." "Nice to meet you, Master Thomas, and thank you for being a helper to my soul" D.
Thomas was shocked, this angel is loving a monster. He replied " No problem, master.... Demietry." T.
"Oh! And our wedding is tommorrow. It would be great if you came." D.
"Demietry, is it really tommorrow!" J.asked with her beautiful smile which turned to catch anyone who ever sees it. "Yes, it is Ms. Salvatore." D. They both smiled with love filling thier eyes but then Thomas cut them and said:" congratulations, but, I'm sorry. I won't be able to come. Tommorow I'll be out of town." T.
"Well,at least try!" J.
"I will, now excuse me." T. Said that and left them with total anger, he said to himself " This devil! How could he be the reason of my father's death and take the girl whom I loved! He must die. Julia is mine!!"
Everyone in the village was happy. Walter was dead, Demietry and Julia's wedding was set and our new lovers "ethan and katherine" were the happiest. Each of them found his other half that completes him, each of them found life.
Julia was walking with Demietry, she told him" you know, Demietry, when I was a young girl, I have been seeing people's misery and my father's misery among them, but I used to tell them that this won't last forever, we will pay no taxes one day, we will live our happy life and we will see the sunshine that was taken from us once! No one believed me, they thought that I am just a child that didn't know the truth of thier miserable life. You know, I too lost hope for a while but then, I saw you and my life changed 180 degrees. Whenever it's harder my hope grows greater. You were the sunshine that I've been waiting for! Now, all my dreams and hopes became true, our wedding is tommorrow, taxes are gone, everyone is happy! What should I need more!"
All this time Julia was talking, Demietry was staring at her, his looks were the looks of an admirer who is afraid to look away and doesn't find her again.
"And you Julia, made a point to my life! Since my father died I thought in nothing but to kill Walter. I wanted nothing else! But, after I've seen you, I got the point that life is wortheless without you. It was enough for me to see your smile, it just gave me hope!" They talked aboit the wedding until they'd reached the place where everyone else stayed. Everyone was happy back there and everyone went to sleep safe and sound. It was the wedding day, Julia insisted that the wedding must be in the village and everyone agreed. It was the afternoon, the wedding's time. Julia looked in her white dress as a princess and Demietry was her handsome prince, they danced , laughed and everything was fabulous and in a sudden, Ethan stopped the music and said "Ladies and gentlemen, first, congratulations for the best bride and groom, then please, let me say something. From a short time, I saw this beautiful lady standing there, Katherine. From the moment I've seen her, I fell in love.....so, without much of talk, Katherine, do you accept to marry me and be the best part of my life?"
Katherine's tears of happiness of happiness fell of her eyes, she said with her highest voice "I do". Steven was happy for his daugher and everyone clapped. We should also be happy for Katherine and learn from her, she lived her whole life caring for Katherine but she knew her fault, fixed it and received the happy result. ^_^
