Hope

Chapter 8

Julia's eyes widened. She didn't believe what's really happening. "I will" Julia said that with no hesitation and with tears in her eyes. For the first time they are tears of happiness and Hope. Hope which she never gave up on. Demietry stood up and wore her the ring. Everyone clapped and everyone was happy but Katherine who left them and went upstairs to her room." Ah, I want to kill this girl. How could she take him from me and how could he leave me Katherine Salvatore and love this poor girl. That's why he went to the village eventually and  he was always happy then. Ah, I can't take it anymore!"  Katherine said that to herself. She was very anxious, even her father can't help her this time, he's happy about the marriage. She sat thinking for a long time and then she heard someone knocking on the door. She acted normal but when she opened the door, she found no one but a letter on the ground. She closed the door and started to read:
"My beautiful lady Katherine, it will my pleasure if you visited me. I've something for you to see."
                                      Walter 
Katherine was puzzeled, why would he want me ! She said to herself. She couldn't wait to the next day, so she went to Walter's Palace and it was the start of the saddest part of Julia and Demietry's life.
"Good evening Miss Katherine " W
"Good evening, sir" K
"Take a seat, please " W
"Thank you " K
"I've heard about Demietry's engagment, congratulations "W
"Yes,that's true but how did you know ?" K
"Dear, I've eyes everywhere" W
"Well then,why did you want to see me?"K
"I know that you want Demietry and you are not pleased with the marriage and I offer you my deal" W
"And what should your deal be ?" K
"There's a tape with Demietry that belongs to me and don't try to ask me about it, but if you got me that tape, your dear friend Julia would go to Charles, my dead friend"W
"How can I be sure of this, I can get you the  tape and stay in my misery with this girl"K
"Well, you'll live in a misery, but it will be Demietry's misery on losing his love"W
"Okay then, that's a deal. You will get the tape as soon as possible " K
Katherine left with her evil smile again,thinking about what she had heard and feeling real vector.
After Julia had returned to the village with her mum, she had even had more hope. She told people that the sun would rise very soon. She did her work as usual and Demietry helped her everyday, he nearly left his old life and lived in the village.
Two weeks later, there was a new arrival to the village, it was Ethan's friend, Robert.
Ethan and Robert met when they were young, but then Robert's family travelled out of England and now he returned to his hometown. Robert was having lunch at Ethan's when he saw Lucie. Last time he saw her she was five. She is now a beautiful young lady. She didn't recognize him and she was waiting for Julia and her vioncèe who were having lunch with them as well. Lucie wasn't so attracted to Robert, but he was. He was attracted to her beauty and then to her personality. Julia and Demietry arrived and were introduced to Robert. They had lunch together and enjoyed thier time. Julia  left with Lucie to the kitchen and said " Robert is a good man, isn't he ?"
"Yes, he is." L
"I guess that he likes you as well." J
"What do you mean, Julia?"L
"Don't you understand?" J
"It's not what in your mind Julia, I feel nothing for him." L
"Okay calm down. I just wanted to tell you that his care for you is very obvious." J
"Well, Thank you very much. Ten minutes of my life gone on nothing." L
Lucie said this as she was trying to make Julia forget about this as she didn't really love Robert. He was just a regular man nothing more.
"Ah, you're so mean Lucie " J
They then went out and sat with everyone else and after the day passed everyone went home.
Katherine saw Demietry going to Julia everyday and she couldn't find the tape so she decided to do something.................
