Chapter 3

Jack's POV

I walked down the hallway and someone singing Higher by Creed and I heard the sound of an acoustic guitar and humming comings from down the hall and I walk towards the sound and I stood at the door and I knocked three times and It went silent and I heard footsteps from behind the door and I moved out of the way of the door and I waited on the left side of the door. I watched as the door opened up and a tactical shotgun barrel poked out and then I stepped out of the side slowly with my hands up and I seen a girl with reddish green dyed hair and she was about my age and she aimed then gun down between my legs.

"You have three minutes to tell me who you are, where you came from, who you are with or I will blow you nuts off and then shove the barrel down your throat and blow you away" she said.

"I'm Jack me a a few friends bunked here a few floors down and I was just walking searching for snacks fuck just dont shoot me please" I said hoping she wouldn't pull the damn trigger and blowing my nuts off and killing me from blood loss.

The girl looked at me and she looked out of the door and she pulled me in and pushed me knocking me down into a chair and she put the barrel on my chest.

"You move I shoot " she hissed

"Yeah" I said.

I watched as the girl walked out and came back with another girl who looked just like her and I thought I was on it for a moment and I looked around and I looked back at the girls. I watched as they looked at me for a moment and then whispered to each other and then back at me and the gurl who opened the door put the shotgun down on the floor and the other girl walked over to me and offered me a Gatorade.

"No thanks those keep you thirsty" I said.

"Smart one" she said putting it down and offering me a water.

"Thanks" I took the water from her and I took a drink.

"So there are more of you" the girl asked me.

"Yeah me , my friends and our teacher" I replied.

"Ugh teachers why do they have to be alive" the first girl whinned.

"Shutting up cat" the second girl said reveling the first girl's name.

"Cat?. Hmm nice name" I said.

"Its not try having that name" cat responded.

"Im sorry for the rudeness that is how she is im carol" the girl sitting across from me said.

"I'm Jack" I replied.

"Well jack are there any undead outside? Carol asked me which was kind of a dumb question since I was in one piece.

"Ah no its clear" I answered.

I watched as cat started packing up quickly and had her and her sister's bags packed up.

"Finally we can leave this place" cat said.

"So jake may we follow you to your room?" Carol asked me.

"Uh yeah but its not my group so dont be upset if our leader says no he has been in a crazy state lately but I will talked to him but first I need to raid a few vending-" I was then stopped by cat who tossed a bag at me with snacks from a machine and I looked at her.

"Take them" she said.

I looked at her and she gave me a weak side smile and carol opened the door and I walked ahead and I hand a knife in my left combat boot in case they try to do anything and I walked behind them and looking over my shoulder and I felt someone tap my shoulder and I seen cat and I jumped a little and she backed up a little.

"Y..you okay?" She asked me.

"Y..yea.h I'm fine" I said

"Lead the way" carol said.

We walked theough the hallways back to the room my friends where in and I knocked and I wad again fretted by the rifle barrel and I seen Vasili and he looked at me and he pulled me in and shut the door leaving carol and cat outside.

"Who are they?" He asked me.

"Just two girls held up in a room like us and I got the snacks they are cool they asked if they could join us and I said yeah but we Ned to wake seth up" I said.

I watched as jade walked and looked out of the door and opened it for the girls.

"Well jade nice seeing you alive" I heard cat say.

"Cat be nice" I heard carol say.

"Well I see Mr Kenneth is okay" cat said.

"Yeah he is fine" I heard Seth say.

I watched as jade turned around and she ran up and her and seth embraced each other.

"I see you found two more survivors- wait where is caroljne and Luna?" He asked.

"Fuck we need to find them" vasili said.

"Its getting dark and the undead are more aggressive and smart at night we will die" cat said.

"Well I am not my friends out there to die" Seth said letting ho of jade and collecting his belongings and walking towards the door opening uiu n and comj ng face to face with a guy wearing a military uniform and a guy in a full black suit carrying two girls with them and them being luna and caroline.

I watched as everything happened in slow motion as the guy in the black suit slammed seth into the wall forcefully knocking him out and then grabbing jade, cat and carol and pinning them to the wall and the guy put down luna and caroline and he ran after me and tackled me and knocked me out.

Vasili

I watched as my friends were being taking down and I had a gun in my face and inhaled the rilfe and the guy in the black suit handcuffed the others and more guys in military uniforms came in a took them and then I was on the ground and I was handcuffed and I watched as one of the soldiers executed Mr Kenneth and I felt anger build up in me and I tried to fight and I was punched in the stomach and face and I fell and I was picked up and we were all packed into a military jeep and then I was injected with a knock out medicine and I was out and the last thing I seen was my luna's face bruised and I wanted to kill the guy in front of me and I passed out.

I watched as military jeeps pulled up and a roiling guys carried a group of teens inside and I waited for them to being them to me and I watched as my door opened and one soldier walked up and told me to get them ready and I did as I was told and I stripped the teens of their weapons and I placed them in separate cages and I sent the cages up and I felt bad for them and I started watvhed as a soldier who I know personally walked up and he handed me a small candy bar and I munched on it and I went to my bunk and I laid down next to my best friend and I fell asleep in his arms.
