Annie was brought into an integration room lit up by a single light above. Her hands were still handcuffed, except this time, they were handcuffed to the table.

After a few moments a man walked into the room and sat down at the table across from Annie.

"So Miss Edison, my name is Detective Jones. It has come to my attention that you have been stashing large amounts of adderall in your locker"

"No, you're mistaken, I haven't touched adderall in years I-"

"We've looked into your past Annie, we know you went to rehab to get over your addiction" Detective Jones interrupted.

"But I've been clean for a couple years now-"

"The drugs were found in YOUR locker. Would you like to explain how?"

"I'm-I'm not sure, but it wasn't me I swear" Annie stammered.

"Okay then, new game. It's called true or false. I'm going to ask a question and you respond with true or false"

Annie stayed silent, but just nodded.

"Alright then, true or false. The drugs were found in your locker"

"...True"

"Your locker requires a password combination that only you know"

"...True"

"You've had an adderall addiction in the past"

"...True"

"Well then, you can understand why I believe that you are responsible and that the drugs are yours" Detective Jones slammed his hands on the tale, making Annie flinch.

As if on cue, the last person Annie expected to see burst through the door.

"Annie are you okay?!" a familiar male voice yelled

"Jeff? What are you doing here?" Annie asked confused.

"Young man, what are you doing here? This is a private interrogation"

"Jeff Winger. This is my client, and you can't question her without me present" Jeff said taking a seat next to Annie.

Detective Jones stared down Jeff who was sitting abnormally close to his 'client'. "Let me check with my supervisor" he said and left the room.

Right when Detective Jones left the room Jeff turned to Annie and hugged her. She returned the notion by resting her head on his shoulder, as her hands were still handcuffed.

"Are you okay?" Jeff asked again.

"Yeah, just shaken up...how did you get in here?"

"Well, funny story..." Jeff started.

FLASHBACK

Jeff ran into the police station, despite being tased 30 minutes earlier, with the rest of the group following behind.

When he got up to the reception desk panting, the receptionist didn't bat an eye while she was on her phone call.

"No way. Sara was wearing that? The exact same outfit Tiffany wore to the bachelorette party last year? OMG..." the young receptionist gossiped.

"Ummm excuse me?" Jeff said, clearly irritated.

The receptionist put her finger up, indicating to Jeff to wait, so he just stared her down until she started wrapping up the conversation.

"Okay I gotta go, theres this old dude looking at me...kisses!" The receptionist said in a high pitched voice, then hung up the phone.

Jeff was clearly both shocked and annoyed for being called "old", but he pushed that to the back of his mind once the receptionist gave him her full attention, if you could even call it 'full attention'.
