I was in an unknown forest somewhere running. Everything was blurry and discolored but I could see better than usual. Not only see but I could hear, smell, and even taste better, I could sense the forest around me perfectly. I was hunting for something or rather, someone. I wasn’t in danger but it felt like I had to find him or I couldn’t live. Then I came upon it- or rather, him. The body of a sandy colored wolf with blood smeared all around him and on him. He was obviously in a lot of pain and was panting heavily, staring at me with terrified brown eyes. ‘What’s wrong’ I thought and to my surprise I heard a voice that I didn’t come up with but also wasn’t spoken aloud.
“Eleanor, you have to go before they come back!” he pleaded
“Who comes back, what happened to you? And how’d you know my name?” I asked
“I tried to take one down but they paralyzed most of my body.” He whined “And you have to go before they come back to finish me!”
“Who comes back?” I asked again
“The vampires! Now go!” he stressed
Then it hit me. I found what I was looking for
“No! I am not leaving you!” I protested
“You have to!” he commanded back “For me, please?” he said whispering the last word. His eyes were full of pain but not from his limp body.
“I will stay here and die before I leave you!” and just as I said that we both heard a noise and flicked our eyes and ears –which I now realized I was a wolf too- towards the place where the noise had come from and my hair stood on end. I jumped closer to the sandy wolf and let out a low growl, raising on my haunches and flashing my teeth ready to spring. When a voice bellowed out “It’s no use. You are too young and weak to win, just like your little friend.” The low growl had now risen into a monstrous snarl. “No, no, no,” the wolf pleaded “run, please, go!” it pressed on. I tried to tune it out but I couldn’t make it stop. “No!” I snapped back and just as I did the dark figure –or vampire as I assumed- came at me in astonishing speed “no!” the wolf cried out as I said “I love you.” and lunged at the figure. That’s when I woke up screaming.
The first thing I realized I left the light on and I was I was tightly gripping my pillow crying and it had small tears where my nails had dug into its delicate fabric. The sheets were tangled all around me but not on me and I was sweating like crazy, and I didn’t feel too good either. Then my grandma came in and looked at me wearily
“You okay? I heard you screaming and got my ‘ol baseball bat.” She said “I’m fine,” I said groggily “Just had a bad dream and don’t feel too good.” I added. Then my grandpa was standing in the door behind her. She looked up at him with a confusing expression, wondering if he heard what I said. “What time is it?” I asked rubbing my eyes and sitting up, making me dizzy. “Six.” She said. They were up already anyway. “Well I’m going to take a shower. I guess I got hot in my sleep.” I said getting some clothes to switch into. “You don’t look so good. You should probably just stay in bed.” She said grabbing the clothes I had and putting them neatly on our- me and my cousins’- dresser and pulling out a pair of fleece shorts and an old shirt and handing them to me. I just accepted and went to the bathroom. I had the shower going but it takes a few minutes for the hot water to warm up and so I was waiting and heard my grandparents’ hushed voices outside the door. I couldn’t understand it all but what I did hear was
“Do you really think she -, she’s only thirteen”
“Yeah but that means that a – is here.”
“Should we tell her?”
“Let’s just wait and see if-”.
But the heat coming from the shower made me resign from eavesdropping and wash all the sweat off. Once I was I done plodded down the hallway to where my grandparents were and said “I’m going outside.” I said happily. “Are you sure?” my grandmother said nervously. “yah.” I said and headed out the door. The cool air felt good against my skin and the smell of the forest –not as intense as it was in the dream- was soothing. It was early November in central Kentucky and all the trees were varying shades of orange, red, and yellow. I sat down on a bed of moss under a tree and began thinking of my dream, first off what was different. One thing was the trees; here they were mostly Deciduous whereas they were coniferous. Another thing was here it smells only green and in the dream it smelled green of course, but also pines and like the ocean was near. After a while of thinking I noticed my hands were shaking slowly my arm began trembling too and after a minute my whole body was convulsing I fell over on my side and squeezed my eyes shut and when I opened them. Nothing looked the same.
When I opened my eyes it was like I was in my dream again. I needed to hide in the woods next to my grandma’s house. Now. I didn’t know why but I jumped into the brush and as soon as I did I saw my grandparents step onto the porch and look around. Then she saw something and walked towards it. Then I noticed she was picking up the clothes I was in and now thinking back to it, I had heard a ripping sound. Then I felt something inside of me, pulling me. So what did I do? I ran. I had no clue where I was going but I followed the pull, I had to.

Sorry the chapter was short, I do that sometimes. I also have the habit of somewhat merging mulitple different stories into one plot. Like, how 'The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner' was to the rest of the Twilight Saga. So, pretty much each book is a different perspective of a main event, and in each book are... different perspectives of the different perspectives? I really don't know. Oh well! You'll find out soon enough!
