"Bolo na naazuuu, main pagal hu?" Sidharth voice was hopeful, soft, and insecure, as if he wanted assurance from her, that he wasn't pagal, he wasn't what his badi maa was implying at.

"Nahi Sidharth," Shehnaaz spoke emotionally, "Tu pagal nahi hai, tu toh pyara sa baby hai na," Seeing the happy glint in his eyes after hearing her words, she continued, "Adorable sa, sweeet sa, cute sa."

"Main baby hu?" Siddharth grinned a boyish grin, asking cutely like a baby.

"Haan na. Cute cute baby." Shehnaaz understood he loved hearing soft words, and she was willing to say anything to make him happy. And it wasn't a lie afterall, he was literally so damn cute.

"Par main kiska baby hu? Mummy Papa toh mujhse milne aate hi nahi..." Sidharth asked sadly, his lower lips jutting down in a sad pout, and her heart was melting like chocolate.

She had broken many hearts, ignored many loving action. Not even the charms of charmers worked upon her heart, but there was something in Sidharth. The innocence radiating from his eyes, the baby talks, the childishness, the way he was so naive, so fragile, the way he needs to be protected, everything about him made her melt in unexplainable ways.

"Tu mera baby hai. Banega na mera baby?" Shehnaaz didn't know what made her say that, but he looked so damn adorable, that her protective sense were awakened by him. She felt the need to protect him, just like a mother feels to protect her child. And her lips whispered those words on their own, without her consent.

Shehnaaz thought why did she say that? But then looking at the emotional eyes of Sidharth she knew, she did right. He was really a soft baby, and she felt protective for him, intensely protective, so that makes him her baby, doesn't it? Even if not, she convinced herself that it did.

"Haan naazuuu. Banuga." Sidharth yelled happily, and pulled her in a tight hug again, as if she gave something big to him, and not just few words that he's her baby. Sidharth felt belonged. He needed to feel belonged. He felt so lonely, so ignored, abandoned these days. He craved for attention of someone, just like babies do. And finally when his naazu was giving him attention, he wanted to cling onto her.

"Baby bolo." He demanded, coming out of the hug.

''Baby." Shehnaaz said, laughing at his innocent demand, and also realising how much he had felt ignored, and left out when no body was beside him. She knew how much such little attention meant to him after getting nothing, not even a single affection. She knew he was craving for it, and in her heart she promised him, she'll pamper him to no ends.

Sidharth's stomach again growled for food, and Shehnaaz became angry at her stupid pa for coming late. She took the phone and ordered rudely to her pa to come asap, but keeping her tone low, as she felt him playing with her buttons again. After getting assured that he'll be there in two minutes, she cut the call.

"Bass two minutes baby, khana aa raha hai bass." She comforted herself more than him, to control her anger that he was still hungry. She didn't even realise she called him baby again but sidharth did, and he smiled widely.

"Otay.'' He said adorably, in a babyish voice.

"Bhook lagi hai na zor se tujhe. Sorry. Sorry." Shehnaaz said guiltily.

"Nahi, thik hu-"

"Chup kar. Aawazein aa rahin hai pet se." Shehnaaz whispered, guilty again.
