???: Subject Number 29? Are you avake?

Your eyes had shot open, your breath hitched, heart racing. It feels as if you were drowning and had just broken the surface of the water. That voice though, you swear it was recognizable? Had it been because it was German, or because of how thick it was with such an edge of mischief and an air of chaos around it.

???: If you don't respond 29 I vill be forced to sedate you! We don't vant any accidents, do we?

Nope, scratch that. You definitely remember that voice. Didn't Roman say something about going to different worlds to help them out?

Y/n: Yeah, yeah. Just give me a bit alright!

???: Oh! One of them is conscious! Oh goody!

You hear a quick pitter-patter against the floor and a door being slammed open before eventually closing. Actually, your surroundings, let's take a look, shall we?

The room seems to be made of tiles, all but the ceiling. The floor has a nice off-white color, reminiscent of a hospital wing, while the walls have a matte-white tile with a single red stripe of tiles near hip-level. The whole feel of the room is only elevating your stress about where you may be located. Oh yeah... there are also blood splotches all throughout the room. You are currently sitting, er, laying on a medical bed off to the side of the room. Medical equipment is seen haphazardly set around the room, showing that their owner either doesn't care, or doesn't have the time to care.

Your thoughts are interrupted by not one, but what seems to be three sets of slow footsteps coming towards the door, only to stop in front of it. You can clearly see three outlines.

???: Now, I vant your assistance, but only if zhey become unstable. Understood!

???: No worries partner, we won't interfere unless we need to, right bud?

???: Doctor need not worry.

???: Great, Number 29, ve vill be entering now!

The doors are yet again slammed open to reveal three men. To your horror and glee, they were the very men anyone reasonable would fear.

The man in front of the group was the most terrifying of the three. You had known how he lost his medical license as well as how scary his experiments truly were. The Medic!

Second in tow was perhaps one of the smartest men in fiction, owning 11 hard-earned PhDs' and easily the only man here that has their sanity intact. The Engineer!

Lastly, the largest of the three, as well as the whole team. You know that he can easily crush you like a can, I mean he casually carries around a minigun and has suplexed a super-bear! Dudes a beast! The Heavy!

Y/n: Woah! What...happened to me?

Medic: Vell, do you vant zhe long or short version?

Y/n: Long, please.

Medic: Vell, Me and my colleges vere defending ourselves from some...um...robbers. All of a sudden, you popped out of nowhere, to be completely honest I zhink you hopped out of a manhole cover. One of the robbers had a... grenade and tossed it towards us, however, it landed short and landed inside of the manhole you vere in, shortly detonating throwing you out of zhere. You landed nearby, and my friend here helped you up and carried you back to our vonderful home!

Y/n: And, where exactly is this place? Forgive me if I'm wrong but homes don't usually have a surgery room in them?

Medic: Vhile zhat may be true in your case, it isn't in ours. Put simply, our little home is more like a... organization!

Heavy: Doctor, are you sure you should tell him these things?

Medic: Oh, shoosh. It vill be fine. Now! Could you tell me your name please, it vill be easier for us all to know zhese zhings.

You were contemplating telling them your name. On one hand, they couldn't possibly find out who you were by checking government files and such, you weren't even from this world. On the other hand... Spy.

Y/n: Don't take this with any prejudice, but I'm not speaking until I know who you all are.

???: Well sorry young man, but zhat information iz classified.

Oh... that accent, one of cigarettes and wine. The man behind that voice is one of mystery and death, while not the most dangerous, easily the scariest. The Spy!

Engi: Now c'mon fellas. I'm sure he can know our codenames at the least.

Medic: Excellent, it's not like we are a secret to the vorld anyvays. I am known as zhe Medic, appointed healer. My job on zhis team is "Docter Assisted Homicide"!

Engi: Howdy, I'm known as Engi or Engineer, my job is "Area Denial".

Heavy: I am Heavy. My job is "Mow Down".

Spy: If you are all so adamant on zhis, I am zhe Spy. My job is simple "Uncloak and Dagger".

Y/n: Well I think that's the best I'm going to get. My name is Y/n!

You decide to offer your hand, attempting to shake one of their hands. They all look at you with different levels of uncertainty.

Engi: Don't wanna be rude pal but, you're a little bit underdressed at the moment.

Medic: Ve vill vait outside in zhe halls. Your belongs are on zhe table to your right.

As the group of mercs walks out, you look to your right, to indeed see most of your belongings. You put on the clothes laying beside your stuff and look yourself over. You are now wearing a tight white undershirt with a loose-fitting red flannel, worn dark blue jeans, and a pair of comfy red tennis shoes. In all honesty, you looked nice. You quickly grab your other items, including your nigh-omnipotent mp3 player, your 'Timeline Gauntlet', and your... knives?

Actually, you had a few tools or 'weapons' on the table, you hand a slick, yet edgy black pocketknife. You remember this as your trusty knife back before you got killed, took this thing everywhere with you. I mean, what man doesn't carry around a pocket knife? The second blade you saw was what appeared to be a machete, with a black sheath. When you took it out of its sheath you saw that it was rigid and worn, but still very sharp. It also had a saw blade along the back of it. The third tool you saw was stuffed in a sack. When you took it out and unfolded it, it appeared to be a miniature pickaxe/shovel.

What you saw next is what you presumed to be your weapons for this new world. Firstly there was a shotgun, nothing too special, looked powerful. The problem was this wasn't any of the shotguns from the mercs, it almost looked like a Spas-12, but stylized like the iconic game you found yourself in. Secondly was a grenade launcher, not the Demo's, instead, it was smaller, about the same size as the shotgun. Lastly was another melee weapon. Clean and simple, it was a Gladius sword.

Next to the weapons were a few holsters and a sheath, as well as a belt and harness. Picking up your belt, harness, tools, and weapons, you equip them. On your waist, you had the machete on your back right, the pick/shovel on your back left, and your sword on your right hip. Your guns were each on your back, in their holsters on the harness.

You looked yourself up and down a few times, and once you had thought you were good, you walked out of the Medbay, ready to meet the team.
