I'm currently sitting on the curb outside of my house, bawling my eyes out. I just got into another fight with my parents. About a couple hours earlier, we got into a heated argument about what I'm going to do with my life after high school. Even if I'm just a sophomore in high school, they expect me to know exactly what I wanna do just like my older brother. He graduated high school just as I became a freshman in high school. He got accepted into Yale and he's working towards mis major. He did everything by the book, followed every single rule. I'm the exact opposite. I like a challenge, I like to step out of the box, I like to break and bend the rules a little.

~TWO HOURS EARLIER AT THE DINNER TABLE~ "So, how was work honey?" My mom asked my father. "It was alright, had a lot of meetings today, but tomorrow shouldn't be as hectic." He said with a smile, wiping off some gravy off his face. My mother smiled back at him, taking a bite of food off of her fork. "How about you sweetheart? How was school?" My father questioned me. I shrugged. "Guess it was ok." I replied while taking a bite of my dinner. "Have you met with your counselor yet? Did you decide what college you're looking into?" My mom barraged me with questions. I replied "Yeah, we spoke about a few. I didn't make a decision yet." She slams her fork down on the table. "Y/N!! YOU HAVEN'T MADE A DECISION YET?? WHAT ARE YOU DOING? SERIOUSLY, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!" She shouted. "I DO HAVE MY ACT TOGETHER!!! I'M JUST A SOPHOMORE!!!! I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING YET!! JUST CHILL THE FUCK OUT!!!" I snapped back at her. "YOUR FATHER AND I WORK SO HARD TO GIVE YOU A GOOD HOME AND MAKE SURE YOU'RE TAKEN CARE OF!!!!THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS BE MORE DILIGENT!!!" She snapped at me while rolling her eyes. I stood up and said "I'M DONE BEING COMPARED TO CAMERON!!!! YOU GUYS LOVE HIM SO MUCH MORE THAN ME, GO AHEAD HE CAN BE YOUR ONLY CHILD!!! I'M OUT OF HERE!!!!!" I ran up to my room and grabbed my gray backpack.

I packed up everything that I needed. Things like my phone, charger, AirPods, clothes, makeup, some accessories, my pillow, blanket, and stuffie. Then, I just left.

~PRESENT~ I pull out my phone and call the person who understands me best, Robby. Ring ring "Hello?" Robby answers the phone. "Hey Robby." I say sadly. "What's wrong y/n?" He asks. I explain everything that just happened and he replies with "Oh shit, I'm on my way. Just stay where you are alright?" I nod even though he can't see me "Okay Robby." I smile into the phone.

A few minutes later, I see Robby driving up in an Audi. "Ooh hey nice ride." I say with a giggle. Robby laughs "Yeah Mr. Larusso let me borrow it to come and pick you up. We're staying there by the way." I nod and he grabs my bags from me, putting them in the car.

It didn't take us long to arrive to the Larusso's. I'm really thankful that they're so welcoming and they're letting me stay. "You can stay for as long as you'd like." Amanda says while giving me a hug. Sam and I have been friends for a while, so they know what my situation is like. "That should be all of your things." Robby states, bring the rest of my bags in. "You can stay in Sam's room, y/n/n" Daniel says. Robby starts taking my things up to Sam's room, but not before he plants a kiss to my cheek. The Daniel and Amanda were busy in the kitchen, so they didn't see that."Okay, thanks for letting me stay again." I thank them while walking up stairs. "Don't even mention it kiddo." Daniel says smiling. I make my way upstairs and knock on Sam's door. I hear shuffling then, the door opens revealing a very happy Sam. "Oh my gosh, I haven't seen you in forever!" She says while engulfing me into a huge hug. "Same here." I smile and hug back. So we just spend our time talking.

I settle into the couch next to Sam's bed, then I hear my phone beep. 'Hey' from Robby. Oh fuck. Why's he texting me right now? It's like 3:45 a.m. 'Hey' I send back. 'Come downstairs.' From Robby. 'Why? Shouldn't you be sleeping?' I text back. 'Pleaseee?' He begs not answering my question. 'Fine" I comply. I make my way down the dark hallway and down the stairs leading to the kitchen. I feel arms wrap around my waist. Being startled, I jump a little. "Hey, Hey it's just me. Don't worry." Robby's soothing voice fills my ears. "Did you wanna tell me something?" I ask, confused why he wanted me down here. "Yeah there's something you need to know. You need to know how much I love and care about you. I hate seeing you upset. When you're upset, I'm upset. When you're happy, I'm happy. I wanna protect you and keep you safe in every way. You make me wanna do better. You're the reason why I stopped doing that illegal shit with those goons. You make me wanna be a better person. For not only myself, but for you." He says while looking deeply in my eyes. "I love you too Robby. You make me feel so safe and warm." I confess, wrapping my arms around his torso and looking up into his perfect green eyes. "You're so smart, talented. You're beautiful. No matter what anyone tells you, you're perfect." He says as he kisses me deeply. I kiss him back with no hesitation. When we pull away, I say "Thank you for always being there for me." He smiles, presses his forehead against mine and says "I'll always be there for you."
