     The sun is shining brightly, so bright that I can slightly see it through my shut eyes. I know exactly where I am, I'm at my best friend Tory's place. After the party, I stayed the night because of how upset she was when she saw Miguel and Sam kiss. "Good morning." I say in a happy tone, in hopes of making her feel better. She still had mascara lined down her face from crying. She gave me a small smile, sitting down at the kitchen table. "Everything is going to be alright, you know?" I say, taking a bite of my pancakes. "No, it's not. That bitch is going to pay!" Tory exclaims, slamming her fist on the table, causing y/n to jump. "I'm sorry angel." She apologizes. Angel is a nickname that Tory calls me. She's been calling me by that nickname since we were little. "It's okay, I know that you must be upset right now. You have every right to be." I reassure her. She starts to sob "I really loved him. How could he do this to me?" "Maybe it wasn't his fault Tor. Maybe Sam was the one who kissed him." I say in hopes of making my best friend feel better. She nods "It was, she's a bitch and she's gonna pay." She says, storming to her room. In about fifteen minutes, she comes out ready for school. "Let's go angel." She grabs a hold onto my arm and we go off to school.

We made it to school and she tells me "Hey, I'll meet you in class alright? There's something I have to take care of." "What is it? Tory, you better not get into any fights. You know I hate fighting." I say worriedly. She grabs onto both of my shoulders once she sees the worry and fear in my sapphire blue eyes. "Don't worry, okay? Everything's fine. Just go to class or you'll be late." I nod and start walking to my class.

When I made it to my first period, I notice that Hawk and Miguel have this class too. 'Oh no...' I thought to myself. Hawk sees me and waves me over. I walk to him and he stands up out of his seat. "Hey, little one." He greets me, pulling me into a warm hug. "Hey Hawkey." I say, playing with his hair. He laughed and picked me up. I'm only 5'2 so, it's easy for him to pick me up. That's also why he calls me 'little one.' "Come and sit next to us y/n." Miguel pats the seat next to him. I sit down and turn to him "What happened last night Miguel?" I ask angrily but quietly so no one could hear but him. "Sam kissed me. We were talking and it just happened. I didn't mean to hurt Tory." He says with a sigh. "You really hurt her Miguel. You gotta talk to her about it. She loves you." I say. He looks at me and says "Don't worry, I'll handle it okay?" He offers me a smile which I gladly return. Miguel, Hawk, and I are great friends too. I can't pick and choose between them, but it still wasn't right that Sam and Miguel kissed.

The announcement speaker went off within a matter of minutes signaling the rest of the class to quiet down and listen. As the announcement went on, we hear shuffling and a person struggling to hold onto the microphone. I look at Hawk and Miguel worriedly and they look just as worried. 'This can't be good...' I think to myself. "Sam Larusso, you know what you did. I'm coming for you bitch." I hear my best friend say into the microphone. Then, the bell rings sending all of the students to leave. I get up to leave when Miguel gently pulls me back down. "No stay here. It's not safe for you to go out." "I'm fine Miguel, I have to talk to Tory." I try to reason with him, but Hawk cuts in "No y/n we mean it. Stay here. That's what Tory would want too." I roll my eyes and agree. I sit down and watch them leave. Miguel ran to stop the fight and Hawk wanted to see what was up. When they were out of sight, I stood up and ran trying to find where Tory was.

I ran down different school hallways and when I finally reached where Sam and Tory was, I saw them walking around each other in a circular motion. "I saw what you did. You kissed Miguel." Tory said before she launched at Sam. Both of them erupted different fights with different clusters of people. I was scared to say the least. I ran up to Tory and grabbed onto her arm. "Y/n, let go. I don't want you to get hurt. She's a bitch, she doesn't care who she hurts." Tory gently, pushed me away, bumping me into Miguel. "Y/N!! I told you to stay in the class. You're going to get hurt!! WATCH OUT!!! He grabbed me, pulling me out of the way from Robby throwing punches. I got out of his grip and ran back to Tory and Sam. When I got to them, they were both fighting on the stairs. I see Sam trying to kick Tory off of the stairs. Instinctively, I run up the stairs and blocked Tory from getting kicked. Which means I get kicked and fell. "NOOOOO!!! Y/N!!!" I hear Tory scream as she held her arm. Everyone stopped fighting and people started running over to see my unconscious form on the ground. Tory was the first person I could hear, but couldn't see. I couldn't open my eyes, but I could hear everything going around me. "Angel. Can you hear me angel?? Fuck this is all my fault." She kept crying, holding onto my hand tightly. Soon, the paramedics came and took me away.

~ONE WEEK LATER~
I've been laying here unconscious for about a week now. I hear everyone coming in and out of my room. But, I can't seem to open my eyes or even move. I heard Tory mostly. She was here all the time. I heard Miguel and his family, Hawk, Demetri, Sensei Lawrence, Sensei Larusso, and the rest of cobra Kai. I hear Tory saying "hey angel. I don't know if you can hear me, but we're all right here. Just waiting for you to get up. I know that I'm a shitty friend for putting you through all of this. It's all my fault and I'll take the blame for this. If I didn't start the fight, you'd have never gotten kicked over that railing." She says as she's crying. She grabs a tight hold of my hand and squeezes it. I feel something click on my body and surprisingly, I squeeze back. This startles her making her run out to get the nurses. They all rush in hearing beating noises from numerous machines around me. Then, out of no where, I open my eyes!!! "Oh my god!!" Tory screams rushing over to engulf me in a hug. I smile. "I'm sorry for all of this." She apologizes again and cries. "I'm so happy you're not dead." She says while giving my hand another squeeze. I laugh and say "It's okay, it's not your fault. You didn't kick me over the railing." "Still, I'm making it up to you somehow, someway." "You already did." "How?" She questions confused. "By sticking by my side through the years." At this, she smiled and started to tear up "You're my best friend angel, and I'm always gonna be here." "Same here Tor." I reply as we hug again.
