I have to keep silent but I can't help but breathing so hard and sobbing. I close my eyes and think of all the happy memories but it just makes me sob even more. Then I hear his loud, crashing footsteps running up the stairs. I bite my lip and try to keep as silent as possible, and then...I see him.

6 MONTHS EARLIER

Today is the my big day! It's chearleading tryouts. Most of the girls on the cheer team are snobby stuck up bitches but I am completely the opposite. I'm completely selfless and pretty much no confidence. You might be wondering why the hell I would put myself into a situation where I am surrounded by all of the snobs but I have always wanted to be popular so bad! I am not the greatest cheerleader but I will do anything to be popular. I greet my best friend Allison by the school doors. "Hey Mary what's up?" Allison asks me. "Hey Alli! Guess what?" I ask her. "What, is it about Collin, that dreamy quarterback?" Allison asks. "No way, you know neither you or I even have a chance with him" I tell her. "Yeah I know but, it's fun to think about. Anyways, what were you going to tell me" Allison asks. "Well, my dad and the chearleading coach know each other and he told he that I am trying out this year and she told him that I won't have any problem making the team" I tell her. "You would make it even if your dad didn't know her because you are really good. I saw you practicing at the gym." Allison says. "Now I know you are just saying that to make me feel good but you don't have to do that with me, you can be honest with me" I tell her. "I swear that I am telling the truth" she tells me. "Thanks, I have to go, I will see you later" I tell her then rush to my class because the bell is about to ring and I can not be late for class. Throughout the whole day I can't focus on anything except for cheer tryouts and then before I know it I am in the gym getting ready for the tryout. Then I see the group of bitches approaching me...
