When I see the bitches approaching me I start to get a little uneasy. What if they think I'm ugly, or annoying, or dumb, or...I was interrupted by Veronica. Veronica is the queen bee at Skyline High and if you are close friends with her, you are also very popular but never get in a fight with her or you will plummet to the bottom of the school. "Hey girl, what are you doing here?" Veronica asks me. "Um I am trying out for the team" I say softly. "Good luck and try not to suck ass" she says. I nod and go back to getting ready. Ugh I was so stupid, I should've tried to actually hold a conversation with her. "Ladies! Gather around me." the coach yells. Everybody rushes over to her. "Okay partner up with someone" the coach says. I look around for someone to partner up with but everyone has a partner except for me so I had to partner up with the coach. We had to do a ton of different activities and the finally after a while the tryout was over. "Okay everyone, the ladies that have made the team are going to be notified by tomorrow. Good luck!" The coach said. "Hey girl!" Veronica yelled. I turned around to see who she was yelling at. Oh my god, she is looking right at me. "You did good today. I'll see you around" Veronica says to me. "Thanks! I will see you around too!" I smiled and left.
THE NEXT DAY
I checked my email to see if I had gotten an email from the coach. I refreshed my feed and there wasn't anything there. I got really down on myself thinking that I didn't make the team but I tried to stay positive. Then all of the sudden my phone went off, it was an email from the coach...
