"But darling pl-" Regina pleaded as tears rolled down her face.

"No, no, don't you darling, please me!" Matías interrupted as his fist came slamming down against the desk, "I warned you, but do you ever listen? NO!"

"I told you not to SPEAK, COMMUNICATE, INTERACT with him or anyone consigning him, but you don't listen."

"I-I am sick and tired of your selfishness that has caused us nothing but fear and pain. Is this how you want your 9-year-old daughter to grow up? Is this how you want her to live her young life?"

"You think I don't know that?" he huffed as he sat back on his chair, "I do this for her, for you."

"Sure," she muttered while rolling her eyes. "Do you know what you have just started; Berlusconi has been onto us, and you have just done an amazing job in helping them."

"All I wanted to do was protect our Navaeh, which is more than I can say for you," she replied, blatantly ignoring his statement.

"SHUT UP!" he growled as he stood up, leaning over Regina, giving her a deathly stare that sent shivers down "you know what, get out."

"What?" she couldn't believe what she just heard.

"GET OUT OF MY FRICKING OFFICE BEFORE I DO SOMETHING TO YOU THAT BOTH OF US WILL REGRET!" his eyes bulge out of their sockets as he clenched his fist in burning fury.

"How dare yo-"

Before she could even finish her sentence, he landed her a huge slap across her face, making her stumble onto the floor as she shrieked in pain.

"Now leave" he mumbled as he adjusted his blazer and sat back down.

Regina obeyed, got up onto her feet and left Matías alone in his own thoughts reviewing what just happened. He felt bad for slapping his wife, but at the same time he was too proud to even bother apologizing.

"Meh, she will get over it," he thought as he continued his paper work.

"Please, I beg of you, spare us; I'll find a way to pay back what my husband owes you, please," Regina begged as she took her seat.

"I didn't say you could sit down," stated a voice from the other end of the room

"I decided to make myself welcome anyway" she sniggered as she started fiddling with her purse's golden chain.

"Does your husband even know your here?"

"Mr. Berlusconi, I do-"

"Thought as much trouble in paradise?" Mika interrupted.

"What goes on in my life is none of your business."

"It clearly is, because if it wasn't, you wouldn't be here right now, would you?" he walked up to Regina and placed his big warming hand across her face, and gave her a peck on the cheek.

"and just what exactly do you think your doing" Regina questioned hesitantly shifting away from Mika's

"oh I'm sorry princess," he apologised with no sincerity at all as he brought his lips towards her ear and whispered, "but lets not pretend your not bubbling on the inside with joy; head over heals that I'm giving you the slightest bit of attention."

She rolled her eyes and took out her phone to check the time; she had to pick up Nevaeh from school and she would not waste her time with this dickhead thinking he can flirt with a married woman. Especially one who is married to the leader of a rival Mafia gang. She wasn't surprised, not at all. Mika has always been like this ,since they were little and he never thought about taking anything serious at all. Everything was a joke with him.
