4. Ae ajnabi

Bani was sitting in the club , sipping onto her wine. She looked stunning in a red short dress with her hairs open and with minimal makeup. Everybody was enjoying their time. Majority of the people were dancing while a few others preferred to enjoy their drinks in the company of their friends and family.

Hey beautiful , a man approached Bani smiling at her.

She looked at him and felt as if she would drown in his dark brown orbs. He had a captivating smile along with handsome looks. His black hair ,well trimmed beard and lean body made him more appealing than ever.

Myself, Veeranshu Singhania .. he introduced himself ,trying to shake his hands with her to which she obliged.

Bani Sharma, she introduced herself shaking her hands with him and returning his smile.

He sat on the chair beside her and took a glass of wine from the side table. He looked at the surroundings to find most of the people dancing enjoying the night to their fullest.

So Miss Bani ,aap kya karti ho , he asked the most basic question not knowing what else to ask to the beauty sitting beside him.

I am not that old to address me as aap ,tum will be ok , she said with a wide smile.

Ok fine ,I didn't want you to think I was trying to have a chance with you ,so tell me what do you do?.

Currently I'm not working anywhere,but I'm planning to set up my own business soon.

Oh that's great ! He spoke impressed at her confidence.

What about you Veeranshu?

Oh! , I work with my dad for our family business.

Oh wow! that's amazing , she smiled at him and soon they started talking like long lost friends.

Uhm! ,do you want to dance  Bani , he asked her hesitantly not sure of her reaction.

Offcourse,why not she held his hand and walked to the dance floor.

The two started swaying to the slow music being played in the background.

Veer kept on staring at Bani and she was aware of his strong gaze on her even when she tried to look around the surroundings while dancing.
He twirled her around and caught her hand the next moment lifting her up and spinning her around. Bani kept her hands on his shoulders and gazed at him. She couldn't take her eyes off him even when he put her down. There was something in those eyes that drowned her.

They danced for a bit more swaying to the music and that is when Veer heard someone calling him out. He turned around to see who it was and saw Natasha ,his childhood friend standing a bit away from him and waving her hand.

Uhm Bani ,I'm sorry but I have to leave ,my friend is waiting for me ,
He spoke with hesitation hoping that he wasn't being rude or anything.

Yeah ,it's ok. Anyways I was planning to leave too.

He smiled at her and moved away from the dance floor to greet Natasha.
Bani too left from there to talk to her friends who were all done dancing by now and were sitting and chatting.

Even while talking to her friends Bani was noticing Veer who was talking to Natasha. Both were laughing on some topic and were standing extremely close to each other. As Veer was trying  to leave, natasha quickly pulled him and kissed him on his cheeks. Bani looked away not wanting to interfere in their privacy.

She got out of the club and started walking towards the car parking lot to get her car. She wanted to say bye to Veeranshu but seems like he was too busy.
