selene had always been a powerful fairy, even from a young age, she took after her mother in the fairy department, unlike her older brother by a year, sky, who didn't inherit the magic abilities. despite this, they where close and grew up more like best friends instead of bickering siblings, they had fun and when sky left for alfea to start his first yesr of training as a specialist, selene missed him.

when stella broke his heart at the start of the summer, sky had to hold selene back from going and attacking the princess of solaria. selene decided that she didn't like stella, based on the fact that she had hurt her brother and that didn't sit well with her. so when it came to selene starting at alfea, she decided that she would avoid the princess and get on with learning how to use and control her powers.

but when she was placed in the same winx suite with the girl, selene couldn't help but realise her time at alfea would be anything but normal, especially with a handsome specialist lurking around every corner.
