rainy day

"What?" George hummed, holding back his laughter.

Sapnap smirked, "Dream almost gave you mouth to mouth."

"NO NO NO- I DIDNT! HE-" Dream shouted in a panic, turning flush red, along with George.

They both in response, earned a laughing fit from Sapnap that they soon joined in on.

"Hey, wanna go out to eat today?" Dream spoke after the laughter calmed down.

"OOO! Yes! We can go to chick-" Sapnap beamed before Dream cut him off.

"Don't you dare say Chick-fila." Dream said sternly.

George chuckled as Sapnap groaned and shuffled his way back inside, leaving Dream and George both ouside alone.

"Ha, you where gonna give me mouth to mouth!" George joked.

"Ha, And you wouldve liked it!" Dream mocked him, making George blush as he skipped back inside.

They all sat spread out on Dreams sofa when a loud crack of thunder echoed through the house.

"Looks like it's going to rain." Dream sighed.

George quivered at the noise, he absolutely hated storms.

Dream took notice of his frightened friend, "hey, are you okay?" He asked as he gave the boy a concerned look.

Another flash of lightning.

"Yeah! I'm not really a big fan of storms that's all." George replied as he threw the thin blanket over his head.

"Here" Dream giggled as he wrapped George up in another blanket the he aimlessly grabbed from the other side of the couch.

"HEY! That was my blanket dipshit!?" Sapnap shouted, trying to reach out for his blanket but The blonde slapping his hand in return.

Dream chuckled as he snaked his arm around the smaller boy who was currently, in fact, wrapped up like a burrito.

"Simp."

George giggled as he sunk into the others warm body next to him, "yeah, you are a simp."

Dream stuck out his tongue, mocking both his friends.

Dreams arm around George reminded him of the previous night.

Them both snuggled up under warm blankets. Dreams arm around his torso.The nice sent of honey and fresh laundry.

A smell he loved so much.

So much even that it blocked out the loud whips of thunder. Dream himself, made George just feel safe in general.

Soon enough he fell asleep to the calming thumps of Dreams heart.

"Is he gonna sleep in your bed again tonight?" Sapnap whispered.

"Shut up, and I dont know. He's asleep and I dont want to wake him." Dream replied as he pulled the blankets back up on to the smaller, causing him to stir awake.

George hummed as his eyes slowly fluttered open, everything was blurry from his sleep state, the only thing clear enough to see was Dream.

"Hey, your awake, I'm sorry." Dream spoke softly after he saw George's eyes open.

"It alright." George yawned through his words.

"Do you want to come stay with me again? Only if you want to..that is. I just dont want you sleeping on this god awful couch." Dream said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yeah, that's the reason." Sapnap chuckled, Dream, in return turning around and giving him the 'I really want to strangle you' look.

George smiled and nodded as he lifted his arms up lie a toddler trying to get his mom to hold him.

Dream looked at him confused.

"He wants you to carry him, idiot." Sapnap sighed.

Dream giggled, "Alrighty, hold on."

He wrapped his arms under his legs and back as George's arms latched onto his neck, carrying him bridal style. Sapnap followed behind.

Dream set him on the left side of the bed and stumbled back to the door to close it and switch off the lights.

By the time he slipped into bed, the other was already snoozed up under the white fluffy comforter with a big grin lacing his face.

Dream eased his way over to the brunette and wrapped his arms around George's waist, cuddling into him as he rested his head on George's neck.

George relaxed into Dream and they both soon found themselves drifting into their slumber.
