Reagan Riley was, to put it simply, the golden girl. From her warm honey skin and doe eyes that she inherited from her Balinese mother to her intellect and kind heart, there was no better way to describe her. It also helped that her dad was a board member and one of the biggest backers of her school's athletic programs. When the school found out her and her best friend, Ayden, had been moved up to varsity to make room for new recruits, it shocked no one in her school. She was a Riley after all.

Romulus Riley was everything his twin sister was not. He had a very plain appearance. He took after his father and older brother in that department with brown hair and eyes and a pale complexion. Being social like his siblings were was not his thing, he'd rather stay in his room and read than be king of the school. It certainly didn't help that he was kicked off the jv hockey team to make room for new recruits and started playing lacrosse instead.

Ayden Carrington was a rough kid. He was known to not always think before he spoke meaning he often let some pretty rude comments slip, but he made up for it with his skill in both hockey and baseball. He knew how he was going to get through school and into the NHL, until the new jv team arrived that is.

Carter Guilds, often considered the glue of his friend group of Ayden, Romulus, and Reagan due to being able to manage their differing personalities, was always different. He always knew it, but didn't know how to face it. His father knew it too and didn't like it one bit. When the knew recruits come and take his spot on the jv hockey team, the one thing masculine about him according to his dad, it throws him with a certain theater kid who tries to help him accept his differences.

Anastasia Telkas' main goal in life to prove the Asian stereotype wrong. She did volleyball, gymnastics, soccer, and cheer and she was certainly not involved in any of the school clubs. The new jv hockey team might make her choose between her friends and proving a stereotype wrong.

Tyler Schultz was often considered Rick Riley's sidekick. Other than the Ayden and the Rileys, he was the only student to play varsity hockey as a freshman. After a year of Rick sculpting him into the perfect varsity athlete, it's evident that he holds a strong distaste towards the new jv team.

Bryce Mendoza had only been attending Eden Hall for two years and had already made a name for herself. Some might consider her a bit stuck-up with her been top of the class and class vice president, but she had made goods friends, even if her best friend Ana seemed closer to her own sister than she was. She was perfectly happy with how life was, until a certain member of the new jv team arrives with the potential of ruining her entire life.

Jacob Haynes had been struggling for some time. He just didn't understand how his mom could remarry this easily and he couldn't seem to connect with his new step-sister, Anastasia, at all seeing as he did nothing to break the mold. He was gay and he was a theater geek, but why did that matter? The new jv team kicks someone into his life that may give him the purpose to work through his own problems while helping another.

They may seem like an unlikely crew, but all had been affected by the ducks in some way, good or bad. With they ducks, they'll all have to come together to bring some change to the historic Eden Hall.
