(This part of the story is told from perspective of Yasashi)

I wake up in a dark room, a room full of nothing full of screaming children and ringing in my ears. I knew i was destined for hell, even if i did everything i could to protect Rei it could still not make up for what i did in the past. All the innocent lives i took are now nothing to me except a punishment for the afterlife. I expect to be tortured for all eternity, i deserve it after all but i am greeted with an offer, to kill to avoid torture. I accept as i have nothing to lose anyway, i'm already dead so i might as well go down knowing that i'm helping the war in some way. I am greeted by a familiar voice

Tatsuya: I knew you'd be sent down here to

Tatsuya approached me and he still kept the positive attitude he had when he was alive

Yasashi: What do you want from me? Revenge for murdering you?

Tatsuya: don't sound so excited about it, i'm here because i was no better than you were

Yasashi: what do you mean by that?

Tatsuya: You killing me counts as justice in the afterlife

Yasashi: Justice? Why?

Tatsuya: Well i guess it's okay for me to tell you this because we're both dead but i am 31, you were 2 when this incident happened.

What he had done clicked in my head.. he had killed my parents...

Yasashi: You ruined my life you-

He cuts me off and puts his finger on my lips

Tatsuya: shush now darlin', it's in the past now and you can't do anything about it

Yasashi: I shouldn't have killed you, i should have tortured you!

Anger is the only emotion i feel at the moment, he killed my parents and made me eat their flesh.

Tatsuya: I was forced to I didn't have a choice okay? Father told me to kill the parents and feed the flesh to the kid

Yasashi: Then why am i down here?

He looks away from me

Tatsuya: you're down here because you killed the parents of that girl you were tryna protect.

My eyes widen as i'm at a loss for words

Tatsuya: Her parents didn't "abandon" her, they were finding shelter when you killed them because they drew a gun on you. 5 minutes later, you found the girl.

I look at the ground, my anger turns to guilt and that guilt turns to tears.

Yasashi: but... how did you know..?

Tatsuya: saw the whole thing.

I look down at the floor then back up at Tatsuya wiping the tears off my face.

Yasashi: Why did you try and pull a knife on us when i killed you...

Tatsuya looks me dead in the eyes

Tatsuya: to make sure she didn't get you killed.

Yasashi: She didn't.

Tatsuya: you and I both know that you had enough food to feed yourself and you went out for food so you could feed her. That's when you got shot and you died.

Yasashi: You.. phrase it like she was the one who shot me with those bullets.

Tatsuya: But you made her kill you, now you are here.

Tatsuya hands me a very familiar looking tomahawk and a gas mask

Tatsuya: you know you want to see Kusuri again, so kill the girl who made you stop and take care of her to make that happen.

I grab the tomahawk and my eyes turn from lime green to blood red and put of the gas mask.

Yasashi: you're right.
