Chapter 1

*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP* I groan as I sit up turning over and slamming my hand down on the top of my alarm turning it off. Sighing I get up and jump in the shower, then I get dressed and do my hair. It was my third week here in Miami after my family moved here. I'm a teen I'm 18 just turned it actually and I'm just gonna be finishing off this year of high school and then I'm gonna go off to college to be a heavy equipment welder. Since I've been here I've met a bunch of new people some id like to call my friends. My buddy Nicholas, the twins Lucas and Chris, my close friend jahseh and last but not least RJ and Micheal. Then I got my cousins Trey and Jay. There's only one person out here that I just met that seems to be making trouble for me. And that's Kalvin Dossier. He hates that I'm better than him at welding, I'm the top in the class. Once I'm ready I texted my dad telling him that i was walking and On my way to school I stopped by my buddy Micheals house and he joined me and we both walked to school. Talking occasionally as we listened to music. Once we got a block away from school we could hear our loud ass friend RJ laughing, once we got up to the front of the school there we saw RJ, Jahseh and Some girl standing by the front chilling, saying a quick hello we shook hands and we walked into school, going to my first class I walked in and sat down at my usual seat in the back beside Nicholas and Chris as Lucas and Trey my cousin sat in front of us. The day went by quickly as I had two classes a day, my first class English at 9:00 am until 11:30 am and then my second class starting at 12:05 pm until 3:00 pm of my welding class. At lunch me and the gang all sat together at our lunch table, in the corner of the cafeteria. At my table was me, Nicholas, the twins, Jahseh, RJ, and Micheal, while my two cousins I had no idea where they're asses were. Scanning the cafeteria I could see Kalvin and his gang walking around slamming peoples trays to the floor. Turning to Nicholas I shook my head and spoke "ayy we still chilling tonight?" I asked him, he shrugged and spoke up "my dads back in town and my moms been super angry at him lately so idk" I shrugged "we can still hang outside in you're back yard? By the pool?" He nodded and spoke up "yeah.. alright then you and the twins are gonna come chill tonight alr?" I nodded and continued eating my lunch as RJ took the talking stick "me and Jahseh and Micheal was finna find us some bitches at a party tonight." Michael smirked and replied "yeah we gonna get some pussy tonight" high fiving Micheal RJ grabbed himself threw his pants "she wanna ride my Willy" he said laughing loudly. Jahseh laughed and shook his head as he talked to me now "ayy so Nicks moms smoking dude, cougar, milf type" I nodded my head amused and asked "married?" I asked laughing he laughed along with me before speaking up, "you hanging with her tonight right?" I nodded my head "I'm going to nicks house" he licked his lips and spoke in my ear "Wanna make a bet?" I raised my eyebrows at him abs asked "how" he shrugged "I bet you can't sleep with her." I bite my lip and shook his hand saying bet as he turned back giving a thumbs up at RJ. The bell rang signalling lunch was over and me and Nick and RJ,Jahseh and my cousin jay went to our welding class. In that class I had Kalvin, he was always tryna start things with me because he was jealous that I am a better welder than him. Micheal is a year younger than us if you're wondering so I don't have no classes with him. Sitting down in my seat beside RJ and some other guy in the class I got to work, seeing Nicholas struggling with his peice I gave him some pointers, immediately seeing a difference in his work, Jahseh and Jay were talking amongst themselves while Kalvin was walking around bugging everyone, and when he got to them he interrupted they're conversation and we eventually had a dispute between Kalvin and Jay, making me and my crew step up for my cousin. Kalvin had back up as well and everyone started throwing punches. We ended all up having to go to the principles office and we had to have detention after school. My parents found out and so did everyone else's. Nicholas Mom was coming to pick me and him up, while the twins ended up ditching. Me and Nicholas were seated by ourselves in detention and we were the only two left waiting for our Guardian to come get us. As we sat in silence Nicholas glanced over at me and said "my dads most likely the one to blame for her being late. He said, I nodded and said it was all good and we waited and waited until she finally showed. We heard high heels walking towards the room from the hallway and we waited anxiously and impatiently for her to come into the room. And when she did, damn, Jahseh was right about his mom.
