Chapter one.
My worst nightmares return. It was going to be a good day. At least I hoped so. It was the first day of Junior year. I looked like I usually do, 5'6 with long legs and a small torso. That's why my friends called me 'legs'. I hated the name, but they were right. All of my three friends were taller than me. Annabeth was a staggering 5'8, and Dylan was 6'0, and Luke was 6'2. Plus to make matters worse, Annabeth wore heels! Well, every girl in my school did. Except me. I'm what people call a tomboy. Not to girly. I'm pretty sure the only girly thing I do is cheer. I loved the summer and I decide to wear high waisted shorts, and a fall out boy shirt. And of course to finish it off, a over sized hoodie. I slipped on my white converse. Then I hear my sister Rachael yelling at me. "Aurora! Where on earth did you put my hairspray?!?" Ugh, I hated the name Aurora. Most people call me Rory. "I haven't touched it! I only use hairspray for game day!" So then I walked out of my room slamming my door and stomping into the bathroom. The little brat was using my brush! Now how do I get her blonde hair out of it? "Rachael! Do not use my stuff!" I rip the brush out of her hand and rip all of the golden locks out. You could spot those easily out of my dark caramel hair. It took forever to brush, my hair was so thick. "Fine, then." That was the end of that conversation. My hair tickled my lower back when I walked, so I put it up in a messy bun. Then Annabeth texted me. Two new boys in our school! I replied with a simple chuckle then called her. "So, two of em eh?" She squealed. "Yes, two! And I've heard that they are hot!" I giggled at her. "We'll talk about this at school okay? I'm almost there." And with that I hung up the phone. I walked to my bus stop which took forever. "Wow, I didn't think you could get more tan." Luke smirked at me and I hit his arm playfully. "Not my fault I'm Hispanic." I kept a glorious tan all year, girls were so jealous. "So, how was your hot date?" I wiggled my eyebrows. "She was not my date, it was Mia for crying out loud!" "Right, the sister." I smirked at him playfully as the bus pulled up. "Ready for junior year Rory?" "Yes Luke." I saw Dylan and gave him a hug. We were like family. "How was your summer legs?" I chuckled and breathed in the smell of him, boy did I miss his sorry little butt. "Good, the only bad part was that I didn't get to see you." Most people think we are dating, but I couldn't do that, we were way to close. "I missed you to Rory." As me being small, Dylan got in the window side, and Luke sat next to him. I sat on one of each of their legs. "Wow, you are tiny." They said in unison and I giggled. "Tiny and strong." This was true actually, they didn't want me to be a flyer for cheer, they wanted me to be a base, none of the girls could lift more weight than me. "You got that right."
As we got to school I hopped off of their laps and greeted Annabeth with a big hug. "Ow. Ribs. Can't. Breathe." I laughed and let go of her, I had to admit I did bear hug her. "Did you find out who the two new boys are yet?" She looked at and beamed. "No, but we will first hour! Also, we have the same schedule!" Of course I did, I have ever since 3rd grade when she moved here. I looked at Dylan and noticed he rode the bus. "Why didn't you take your car? I mean you are a senior." "I wanted to see you." I blushed, I always did when I'm around boys. "I thought you two saw each other this summer." Annabeth had said this and I answered looking back at her. "It's hard when he went to New York over the summer." It's true, he went to New York, and I stayed home in Florida.
"We better get to class." Luke said this, he was right it was three minutes until the bell rang. "You're right, see you guys later."I hugged the both of them and they walked off. "Lets go Annabeth, we don't want to be late." We walked together to first period when we saw the new boys, their backs actually. I saw two head of brown hair, that had that wind swept look, and dark jeans with grey shirt, one of them was wearing a red one. They turned around and I saw those Sea foam green eyes, then it hit me. I knew those looks, I knew those mischievous grins. "Good to see you Aurora," Both of the boys said in unison. And I knew those voices, it had been since middle school I had heard them, and they got deeper and huskier. I looked up to see the 6'4 and 6'6 twins. They were my worst nightmares, my elementary and middle school bullies. The Green twins, Kade and Kole Green.
