Tris

Tobias POV

Every morning I wake up from the same dream screaming the same thing.
"TRIS!" I always dream about her going into the weapons vault and the death serum seeping into her brain slowly killing her.
She didn't deserve that fate.
We always promised each other that after the city regained the life and happiness that it once had we would start our life together and now it'll never happen.

My mother knocks on the door.
"Come in" I say
She walks in and sees me breathless and sweaty.

"The dream again?" She says.
"Yeah it happens every night, she shouldn't have gone in I should have."

"What the hell is wrong with you no your wrong this is all in your head you shouldn't have gone in no one should have."

"Where's Marcus?" I say sourly.
"He's been shipped off to one of our remote facilities he won't be bothering us anymore I can promise you that."

"Actually I was thinking since your a pretty familiar face in the city I was thinking maybe we could rebuild the city and maybe run the city all as one you not have all that faction crap it just turned the city into mindless servants and tris didn't want that and neither do I. So if you could convince everyone....."

"Sure. I'll definitely try but it could take some time.

Evelyn POV
I walked off and after tobias had told me that the faction system wasn't needed I knew that he wasn't thinking straight the faction system have everyone a chance to do their part in making our community better.

Unless he was divergent but no he isn't I'm sure of it he would have told me. Wouldn't he?

I sat outside with a cup of tea I don't know if I should continue the faction system I want my son to be happy but I also want what's best for the city and I do t want them to suffer from a bad decision and I dot think that tobias should be the one to suffer either.

Marcus POV
When Evelyn shipped me out here I knew that I wasn't welcome in the city. Of course I wasn't. Not that I wanted to go back. I was in abnegation I was still married o Evelyn our new leader I know I'm still married to her she says that the abnegation allow divorce in cases of spousal abuse people say that I abused her to the point of suicide but she just left to get away from me.

Caleb POV

After tris died there was no one that I had left mom and dad were dead and now tris. I feel like it's all a dream sometimes I wake up thinking its all a dream and I'll wake up safe and sound in abnegation but when I wake up and the house is empty and it breaks my heart.

Tris she was only young, she was smart
And she didn't deserve this but no one does.

Christina POV
I lay in bed for hours every night trying to sleep but when I close my eyes I see Tris and her lying on the floor clinging to life.
And David did nothing although I suppose once death serum is in your brain then you really don't have a chance, but that still doesn't take away the pain.

Tobias POV
When my mother had that blank stare looking over the city on the balcony of the Hancock building I knew that she was up to something she had that same look when I was a kid when she left.

When I asked her about the city I knew she was lying. She knows that she has control over the city and now that Janeine was dead she was the only left that could lead us. The faction system was crap it made everyone miserable and just because people were divergent that does not mean that we treat them differently. If anyone should know about that is would be Evelyn. Marcus made her miserable and after she and I returned to the city she promised me that this would never happen again, if we continue the faction system I can guarantee that this will happen all over again.

And this time maybe the city will never recover, and this time it won't be the city the city that suffers it'll be the people in the city.

There's only one place that I can go to for help, I have to ask Nita. She was the only person I could go to for help. She hates the faction system and so do I.
