Chapter 4 + A/N

When we got into the building, everyone was crowding around the actors, making a large noise. There was always going to be noise, but this was something else! Everywhere, wherever you went, a gaggle of noise followed you. I occasionally saw somebody I knew like George Eads or Jorja Fox but then...

"OH MY GOSH Maddy is that William Peterson?" Jessica exclaimed.

"I think it is!" I exclaimed back. Shortly after that, Mom's boss came over to explain the situation.

"Well, the cast and director here want yours, and every other colleague of yours to give their experience to them so they can more fully enhance their roles. They'll also be filming here and there'll be a draw at the end for people who want to participate to have a chance to have a role at least as an extra."

"It's a shame we can't join in" we all whispered together.

"Maybe we'll be allowed, if we asks you're Mom's boss." Jesse whispered to me.

"I doubt they'll let Under 18 non actors but to be honest they might to it as a surprise!" I whispered back.

"SHUT UP GUYS LOOK WHO'S WALKING OVER HERE!" Jessica whisper exclaimed. It was none other than Marg Helenberger, who plays one of my many favourite characters in the programme, Catherine Willows.

"Hi girls, are you lost?" She nicely asked.

"No!" We all shouted at the same time. "I mean," I started "my Mom works here and she brought us along to meet some of you guys because its basically our favourite programme!"

"What's your name then?" She asked.

I pointed to each person as I said their names. "I'm Madison, this is Jessica and Jessica's brother, Jesse."

Marg smiled. "Well hi there you guys! I'm Marg Helenberger, as you probably already know." She replied.

"You're so pretty," Jesse suddenly burst out.

"We'll thank you young man!" Marg smiled again. "I might see you around!"

"And the winners of the draw are," Moms boss started. "Alan Stevenson and April Day! These two people will get to work with the cast for one series as extras and occasional speaking parts.

Not my Mom then, I thought.

Marg came on stage. "Well done to Alan and April, you did very well during the audition. However, my director and the rest of the cast have agreed with me that we need some children. And we didn't audition these children publicly. We quietly started a conversation to see their reactions and secret acting skills as weird as it sounds." She paused. "We've all agreed that the people best for the large speaking roles we need children for are 3 children I met. Well done to Madison, Jessica and Jesse!"

We screamed.
