I hope you get all the spice you seek!

After everything that happened at the school, I walked my way to Chunkey's drenched in milkshake. The staff of Chunkey's covered me with a towel as soon as I opened the door. 

"I am sorry Zoe, I didn't think about the repercussions you had to face when I said that" said Sydney breaking the silence on our table.

" What did u say Sydney?" I said with my eyes wide opened because at that moment I knew Jordan couldn't keep it between us and he spilled everything that happened at Bitterroot that day but the question was 'How much did she know and what did she speak about it to Ashley?'

"In the washroom when Ashley was doing her routine makeup , she passed a comment on me. She said "LOSER ALERT" pointing at me. So...." she stalled her sentence .

"So what Sydney?"

"So I said you are the loser coz Zoe is gonna date Noah and you can't do anything" she said in a hushed voice.

"It was supposed to be between you and me, but clearly you betrayed me" I said turning my eyes towards Jordan.

"She was worried about you going all MIA so I had to say. I asked her to keep it a secret but I didn't know it was Sydney I was asking to" 

"Well, I hope you got all the spice you seek for!" I kind of yelled at both of them not bothering the looks I was getting from the other customers and left.

I then walked my way to Bitterroot River. I knew the consequences. I was already grounded for a month and I didn't have my car, what would happen when mom and dad would get to know about the little stunt that I pulled off at the school today. I knew mom and dad would put 24\7 surveillance on me and I would be stripped off my rights to go to Chunkey's. But everything I did today was just what any other person would do if they were in my place. I didn't know what to do next, I wanted to cry out loud but I knew I couldn't. The molly that I just popped in would hit my brain and it wouldn't let me do anything. So I just sat there contemplating everything I ever did.

After about 2 hours I came back to my senses and called Joey. After Jordan the only person I trusted was Joey my brother. I called him to pick me up because now I didn't have the strength neither did I have the will power to walk home.

"Talk" Joey said after about 2 minutes of driving. I never called him to talk or check on him. Looking at my shirt and my current state he knew something was wrong with me.

"Ashley threw her milkshake on me because she thought I was gonna date Noah which is not true because I am not going to date him." I spoke all in one go.

"And why is Jordan Sydney not with you right now?" he asked because he knew they would never leave me in such situations. But they did leave me, I was in this situation because of them.

"Only Jordan knew about Noah confessing his feelings to me but Jordan couldn't keep it to himself and he spilled everything to Sydney. Sydney then.......it's complicated okay! It's not easy to explain Joey." I said feeling the pain rushing through my chest. Was it adrenaline this time? I doubt.

"Okay I get it, it's complicated and it's not simple. Dating someone you don't like and everything I get it. You feel betrayed because Jordan couldn't keep it to himself. But they stood up for you every time you needed them Zoe, they were backing you up ever since you met them and they will still back you up. They might be talking to mom and dad about what happen today at school right now so that mom would not extend your curfew and return your car back and your credit cards. They might be doing all this because they know they made a mistake and you are mad at them but they know you will love them anyway and they will love you anyway Zoe." 

"Joey, no joke. Are you serious? Are they really doing that for me?" I screamed.

"Yes they are." he said grinning.

"I am a terrible person , I don't deserve such friends" I said looking down at my feet drowning in my own guilt.

"You did something any human would do, we all make mistakes but the most important part is how you deal with your mistakes. You have realized your mistakes now , you gonna apologize to them and you'll see your bond will be stronger than ever." he said looking straight ahead on the road.

"You reading tumbler quotes these days!" I said laughing because I knew something like that would never come from Joey's head. Joey was more like a living the life to the fullest type of a person. He didn't bother contemplating and comprehending his mistakes. 

"Well I am dating a writer these days. And tumbler's the best way to keep up" he said in his devil voice. Devil voice was kind of our thing-an inside joke.

I then spent the rest of the night with Jordan and Sydney watching movies and binging on pizza's. We took one day off of school and made plans for a pay back.
