Asahi's POV:
Pigeon City is a place known for its love of aesthetics. My father is a fashion designer, and my mother owns a perfume line. They naturally moved to the city for their work. But I don't know if staying here was a blessing or a curse.
Asahi detangled his hair with a wide-tooth comb before showering. He used lightweight shampoo and then finger-combed a hydrating conditioner evenly on his locks. Lastly, he stepped out to moisturize his body and face.
At last, the polished pearl tied his blue bow on his uniform and arrived for breakfast.
"Sunshine, You ready for your first day?" She smiled brightly.
"Yes, but I will not know anybody there..." I sighed and started to eat my yakizakana with steamed rice.
"Meeting new people is not always a bad thing," Otou~Sama said gently.
"You could snatch som someone special." Asahi sighed at his mother's insistence on dating.
"Amaterasu, he should just focus on his studies!" Amaterasu shook her head laughing at her husband's careful choice of words.
Amaterasu saw on the clock that her son had thirty minutes left. She devilishly said, " Asahi, your Otou~Sama wants you to focus on your studies. You should leave early for school to prove your devotion to him."
"What are you talking-"
"I just wanted to spend time with you." Asahi interrupted with the same playful tone as his mother. "I guess I should leave as Otou~Sama does not want me here." He finished his breakfast and quickly fetched his bag.
"That's not what I meant-" Asahi's father heard the door close before finishing his sentence. He sulked on his chair.
Amaterasu laughed so hard while rubbing her husband's back, "Kosuke, we were just playing with you." He glared at her but soon broke a smile and laughed with her.
"Asashi doesn't need to date. I don't want him to leave by my side just yet." Kosuke frowned that his son would not need him anymore in the future.
"Kosuke..." Amaterasu held her husband's hand firmly. "I do have the same fear as you. But we were young once and had crushes. Let's cherish the time we have him close to us now."
"How did the clown who was pranking a few minutes ago become a mature adult just now?" He chuckled.
"I was trying to cheer you up!" Amaterasu huffed.
"Thank you for doing it just for me." Kosuke hugged her. They stood there in comfortable silence, holding each other.
Meanwhile, Asahi enjoyed the scenery as he strolled to Lycée International Louis Dieudonné. Wisteria trees swayed by the wind embellished the school grounds with petals. He ventured through the sea of purple-blue amazed by its beauty. "Its beauty rivals against the cherry blossom tree."
As he approached the entrance, a blonde prefect was inspecting each student. He waved at me with an angelic grin, "I hope your first day goes well."
"Handsome," I muttered and scurried into the courtyard to admire him from afar.
*Fantasy*
A letter fell when Asahi opened his locker, "Come meet me under the Sakura tree." He looked around to see if the sender was still nearby.
"Who could have sent me this?" He arrived and was shocked to see his senpai.
The prefect blushed at the sight of him, "Hinata... I am not great with words but the thought of you makes me smile when I feel down. You brought me experiences that leave me wanting more."
